Lions waived CB Jack Williams and LB Korey Bosworth. Williams missed all of 2010 with an ACL injury sustained one week after being claimed off waivers from the Broncos. The Lions were quick to cut bait in camp, suggesting Williams hasn't regained pre-injury form. Bosworth is the nephew of '80s icon Brian "The Boz" Bosworth.

MLive.com's Tom Kowalski has spoken with a "personnel guy" that believes CB Jack Williams could be the "surprise" of Lions' training camp. Williams missed all of 2010 after tearing his ACL in Week 10 of the 2009 season, and has zero career interceptions in 21 games. He's still just 26 years old, however, and at least figures to make the Lions' 53-man roster as long as he's healthy this summer.
