Alfred Morris rushed 18 times for 59 yards in the Redskins' Week 2 win over the Rams, adding two catches for 13 yards.
Morris was out-carried by Matt Jones 19-18, out-gained 123-59, and out-scored 2-0. The Redskins' offensive line was opening holes all day long against an ultra-aggressive Rams defense that couldn't stop anything. This is still Morris' backfield, but it's pretty clear Jones is talented and deserves work behind him. This could turn into a timeshare situation. Morris had one run of 35 yards, but managed just 24 yards on his 17 other carries. Morris will be in play as an RB2 when the Redskins travel to the division-rival Giants in Week 3.
