Vikings released QB Sage Rosenfels. It's a surprise because the Vikes guaranteed $500,000 of Rosenfels' salary upon re-signing him to a two-year deal in March. UDFA McLeod Bethel-Thompson has a chance to stick as the No. 3 quarterback.

I wish I could get $500,000 from an employer and them let me go six months later. There would be a vacation to remember immediately afterward.
