The Houston Chronicle reports the Texans have no interest in claiming QB Kyle Orton on waivers.
This hardly a surprise. The Texans are confident in Matt Leinart, who has been in Gary Kubiak's offense for two years. Any QB they sign will be a third-stringer behind Leinart and T.J. Yates. The Chicago Tribune and Fox Sports' Jay Glazer both report the Bears do indeed plan to put in a claim for Orton, though he's expected to back up Caleb Hanie if awarded to Chicago.
Orton to the Bears....how ironic is that ! This means The Mighty Quinn is just one Tebow hit away from taking snaps in Denver...Don't get me wrong I love what T.T. is doing for the NFL and the Broncos but he's gonna get hit and hit hard - These are not college players taking aim on him...
