The Seahawks elevated Griffin to the active roster Saturday, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
When the Seahawks waived Griffin at the end of training camp, coach Pete Carroll predicted he'd be back on the active roster soon. Bruce Irvin's unfortunate season-ending torn ACL opened up a roster spot for Griffin, who will mainly serve on special teams and in pass-rushing scenarios moving forward.
