Philip Rivers completed 24-of-40 passes for 258 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions as San Diego was downed by Denver 30-23 in Week 11. He committed a third turnover on a lost fumble. Rivers is lucky the Chargers plucked Danario Alexander off the street. Otherwise, he wouldn't have anywhere attractive to go with the football. The Chargers' offensive line was a sieve for the first three quarters Sunday, and defenses have been taking away 32-year-old Antonio Gates all season. Malcom Floyd is more of a jump-ball than separation receiver. Alexander went off for 96 yards Sunday, securing both of Rivers' touchdown passes, and is keeping Rivers' fantasy value in the high-end QB2 range despite all of the problems with the offense. The Chargers host an unimposing Ravens defense next.

Rivers is a worthless QB2 option. He'd be alright if he didn't turn the ball over atleast twice a game. I'm getting killed from my QB position!! >_<
