Watson (Achilles) has been out of his walking boot for several weeks and was throwing to teammates at the Browns' facility Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Watson had a second surgery on his Achilles on Jan. 9 after aggravating the injury. He's not expected to be ready for the start of the season, and he isn't projected to compete for the starting job even when he is capable of retaking the field. Nevertheless, Cabot described Watson as having made "excellent progress" in his recovery.
the best case scenario is 2 put watson on the IR (for the season, injured or not- we can always make the injury permanent if need b) for this year to protect the salary cap, then cut him next year.... if he quits, maybe, he violates the contract and loses the guaranteed money, so that would b better.... ya might c if theres any women in ohio who might complain and get him on the personal conduct clause.... or the browns can trade him to the jets for 2 1rst and a 2nd.... im surprised the browns allowed him at the practice facilities... am i being 2 harsh?
