Michael Turner rushed 15 times for 46 yards and a touchdown as the Falcons defeated Arizona in Week 11. Turner was completely ineffective on the ground, rendering Atlanta's offense one-dimensional. Although pre-game reports suggested Turner's role would be scaled back in favor of more Quizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling, the backups combined for just six carries. Turner is running so poorly at this point that his week-to-week fantasy productivity is almost wholly dependent on goal-line scores. The Falcons face the Bucs' league-best run defense in Week 12.

Yes Micheal Turner looks slow and next year he may not have a job with this team. But Jaquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling is not the answer right now. Rodgers is better out of the backfield catching passes and is basically being used as a third down back and has some passing plays set up for him. But he is not better in pass protection and is not going to break tackles from interior lineman and linebackers. He is a speed back and is not an every down back. He had 5 attempts last game.

Turner is still the RB1 for the falcons. Touchdowns are so important for him. No really? They are important for every RB.
