Maclin (hamstring) caught six passes for 43 yards on eight targets in Thursday's preseason game against the Steelers. Maclin was responsible for perhaps the most unusual moment of the night, as he went down with a non-contact injury, but then returned to the field shortly thereafter. He was holding the leg in which he tore an ACL last season, yet showed no signs of being any worse for the wear. Locked in as a starter across from Riley Cooper, Maclin is a decent bet to lead the Eagles' receiving corps in catches and targets, though Nick Foles' attention will likely be spread around. The hamstring that recently bothered Maclin seems fine, and he'll likely sit out the final preseason game.

I think Maclin is Phillys only hope this year on the receiving end. With DJax gone to a better team and Foles with yet to prove himself, Phillys season is up in the air. I think they could easily end up in the basement if they don't watch their step with a tough schedule ahead.

Although i just can't see them doing worse than the Giants, Dallas and Washington are both gonna be a force to be reckoned with in the months ahead. I look forward to watching this division clash.

Sproles will be very productive too

Basement? hard to believe, the NFC east is terrible outside of the birds. Kelly also does not rely on any one player, thats why Sproles was picked up, cause they relied too heavily on Lesean.
