Maclin caught three of four targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-17 win over the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Maclin caught a 25-yard touchdown early in the first quarter, but was quiet after that, as the Chiefs went to a conservative game plan. After a cold stretch in the middle part of the season, Maclin has been strong over the last six games, catching 39 of 51 targets for 476 yards and six touchdowns. Although Maclin wasn't quite able to match his career-high numbers from 2014, he still established a personal best with 87 receptions, and that came on 19 fewer targets. He and the Chiefs will head into the postseason on a roll, winners of a franchise-record 10 straight games, so there is some upside to drafting him, assuming you're participating in a playoff league.
Maclin did not get big target numbers against Oakland, but he continued his streak of three-straight with a touchdown with a 25-yard score in the first quarter. Maclin now has six touchdowns in his last six games and has dominated red-zone opportunities over the second half of the season. Maclin suffered a hip injury on a hard fall in the second half, but he came back into the game and should be fine for the first round of the playoffs.
