Josh Freeman will remain the Vikings' starting quarterback for Week 8.
Freeman was almost indescribably bad against the Giants Monday evening, completing just 20-of-53 passes for 190 yards (3.58 YPA) while airmailing a hard-to-believe number of throws. He left ESPN's post-game commentators speechless. Freeman's short time in the Vikings' system has been a common explanation, but that's no excuse for just how truly inaccurate the former Buc was. Freeman will be a bottom-five option against a Packers defense that made life miserable for Brandon Weeden in Week 7. Christian Ponder might be back under center before long in Minnesota.
that was just pathetic.. i mean it made no sense what they were doing out there.. not only was he bad but it seemed like they ran the same play 35 times.. wtf were they thinkin...
Not only that they passed like 1000000000 times and ran op like 15 times ..... new qb new system one of the best rbs in the league and pass way more why not run ap and take weight off his sholders vikings are going to make ap pull a barry sanders he almost broke dickersons record last year and they barley use him like that did last year
AP was not struggling...that is how so many of his games go. The opposing D puts 8 guys in the box, they hold AP for a quarter or two until he breaks a tackle at the line and runs for 60 yds. They would get a 2nd & 1 and call two straight passing plays and then have to punt. He averaged about 5 yds a carry in that second half. God only knows why I was watching at that point haha

not sure how Frazier can come out of that game thinking, 'yep this guy gives us the best chance to win.'
