Holmes hauled in 4-of-8 targets for 121 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Chargers.
The third-year wideout got behind single coverage on the Raiders' third play from scrimmage, resulting in a 77-yard score in the opening minute of the game. Holmes then used his great size and athleticism to make a catch along the sideline in the second quarter, which went for 30 yards and set up a score to James Jones, before connecting with quarterback Derek Carr again in the fourth quarter from six yards out. With 195 yards on 20 targets in his last two games, Holmes has established himself as a player who should be owned outside of the shallowest of leagues.
I am starting him. This kid has big play potential written all over him. With him up against the 32nd rank pass def against WR default score. He is worthy of a start next to Dez.
