Gordon (suspension) is slated to return to the Browns on Monday, at which time he "will be clear to resume normal activities without restriction," per AFC director of football communications Jon Zimmer, ESPN.com reports. With his 10-game suspension about to be completed, Gordon is poised to return to the Browns' wideout mix in advance of their Nov. 23 contest against the Falcons. Assuming things go well in practice next week, we suspect that the Browns will find ways to get Gordon the ball out of the gate. With that in mind, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer, offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan suggested that he'd "be surprised" if Gordon wasn't wasn't ready for immediate full-time duty.

I think it's awesome that he gets to return to a Cleveland Browns team that's in first place. Who knew?

Being in first place and getting Gordon back will be great for Hoyer's confidence. Add a very capable running game and Gordon should get quite few looks right out of the gate.
