Gordon has been reinstated following his 10-game suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy, NFL.com reports.
Per the report, Gordon has been cleared for normal activities with the Browns without restriction in advance of Week 12's game against the Falcons. Meanwhile, offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said last week that he would be "surprised" if Gordon wasn't ready for full-time duty upon his return to the team. Such a notion should be solidified as the practice week progresses, but with the Browns coming off a 23-7 loss to the Texans on Sunday, we suspect that the team will be less inclined to ease Gordon (who racked up 1,646 receiving yards in 14 games last season) back into the mix in his first game back.
Anyone asking if they should start Gordon this week after coming off the suspension should look at Week 3 of last year. Gordon should be in your lineup from here on out.
Last year he only missed weeks 1 and 2 after playing the whole preseason. He was still familiar with the system. This year, he hasn't practiced for 11 weeks. That said though, I'm starting him lol.
