Free agent Josh Cribbs has reportedly narrowed his choices to the Patriots and Cardinals.
The 49ers appear to be out of the mix. The Patriots need a return ace to replace Julian Edelman and Josh Demps. The Cardinals could pull Patrick Peterson off returns if they signed Cribbs, allowing Peterson to focus on cornerback.
Josh Demps is not a person. Jeff Demps is a world-class sprinter who has never played in the NFL, so it makes no sense why they're even saying he's being replaced. Cribbs would help, but theres no reason to believe why Edelman, Cribbs, and Demps can't all be on the team next year.
