Miller and the Commanders are finalizing terms of a one-year contract Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller was released by the Bills in March but made clear that he wanted to continue his playing career. A short-term deal makes sense given that he's entering his age-36 season, as does the fact that he's joining a team that has a realistic chance of reaching the postseason. The Commanders had a relative weakness at edge and pass rush entering training camp, so Miller should be a significant lift to the unit after logging 6.0 sacks across 13 regular-season games in 2024.
Aiden Hutchinson had 1.5 more Sacks in a game than Washington's 2024 Sack leader had all season (3). Miller should double that as a situational rusher. It's a good pairing, no sneaky about it.

He literally won the Super Bowl for the Broncos, and Cam should have jumped on that ball lol.
I think he has good some in the physical tank and alooot in experience that he can bring to the locker room. #sneaky good signing!

@MonteM, stop trying to sound smart dummy! It is a sneaky signing as most seem to think he is done... capish?! GOOD.

Not sneaky. Miller was going to a contender in need of an edge pass rusher.

^ averages 4.5 sacks the last 3 seasons. Extremely overrated player. You still lose! xD
