ESPN's Adam Schefter and CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora both reported Sunday morning that Darren Sproles (hand) is expected to be active for Sunday's Saints-Raiders game at 4:05PM ET. La Canfora said Sproles "looks good," and Schefter stated that he's "expected" to play. Although the Saints' backfield has changed since Joe Vitt returned from suspension, Sproles has always been their most effective back and he seems like a lock to resume his normal, 10-12 touch-per-game role. Sproles has averaged six receptions per game this year when he's been healthy.
