According to ESPN's Ed Werfer, the Cowboys still believe that NT Josh Brent will contribute on the field one day.
Brent, accused of driving drunk and testing positive for marijuana during the accident that caused teammate Jerry Brown's death, is awaiting trial on manslaughter chargers. Even if he's found not guilty, the league will likely suspend him for a year. But the Cowboys apparently think that it's possible Brent can contribute in 2014 or beyond, so he stays on the roster.

The Cowboys are an absolute joke to keep this a$$hole on the roster.
