Redman lost seven yards on the game's second play before accumulating 12 yards on his next five touches. He gained more than two yards only five times, but did manage gains of 14, 10 and 13 yards counting his reception. He also displayed an impressive second effort on his two-yard score in the fourth. However, it was still a largely disappointing day for a back who simply lacks any real burst. Jonathan Dwyer wasn't a whole lot better this afternoon, but Redman shouldn't be long for fantasy lineups.

Regardless, with Chris Rainey and Baron Batch also in the mix behind Dwyer, it's hard to see Redman maintaining a meaningful role going forward, particularly if Rashard Mendenhall is ready to return in Week 2.
