Isaac Redman (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. Redman now appears to have a chance to play versus the Redskins, but he's clearly not close to 100 percent. The Steelers may be hoping to have him as the passing-down complement to Jonathan Dwyer.

According to the Steelers, the injury that knocked RB Isaac Redman out of Thursday's game was to his ankle, not his knee. Redman appeared to be seriously injured after taking a direct hit from a helmet to his knee. In that sense, it's relatively good news that it's the ankle instead. Redman was listed as "probable" to return, but remained sidelined in a tight game. His status was not updated after the game.

Isaac Redman exited Thursday night's game in Tennessee with a knee injury. Redman took a helmet to the knee in the third quarter and limped to the sidelines. He had five carries for 14 yards and four catches for 105 yards before leaving while working as the third-down back. Baron Batch and Chris Rainey should see more action.
