Reddick, whom the Buccaneers signed to a one-year deal this offseason, has impressed in several aspects during the first few practices of training camp, Brianna Dix of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The prolific pass rusher had a washout of a 2024 season with the Jets, missing the first seven games of the campaign due to a contract dispute and then managing just 1.0 sacks across 10 regular-season games. However, his new Tampa Bay digs offered a strong opportunity for a reset given the talent around him and head coach Todd Bowles' aggressive scheme, and thus far, Reddick looks primed to take advantage. The 2017 first-round pick of the Cardinals has been impressing early with his trademark explosion off the edge, range and quickness while also serving as a valuable veteran voice on defense. "He looked great," described Bowles. "He is quick, he's fast and he is very smart. He gets it and he is in great shape right now."

The Buccaneers are in line to sign Reddick to a one-year, $14 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reddick is coming off a down season with the Jets in which after staging a holdout he racked up just 14 tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks, one pass defensed and one forced fumble across 10 appearances. Tampa Bay appears confident in Reddick's ability to bounce back, however. Prior to his disappointing 2024 campaign, Reddick had put together four consecutive seasons with double-digit sacks.

Reddick tallied 14 total tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks, defended one pass and forced one fumble over 10 games in 2024.
EDGE Analysis
Reddick's first season in New York didn't go according to plan, as he was traded from the Eagles to the Jets in late March due to a contract dispute. He then held out of the Jets' training camp and first seven games while negotiating an extension with his new team. The Temple product underwhelmed upon his return in 2024, recording the fewest tackles and tying the lowest sack total of his career. Now set to hit unrestricted free agency this summer, Reddick likely cost himself significant earnings by holding out and underperforming in 2024. He will aim to return to his usual form as one of the NFL's top edge rushers in 2025, whether he remains with the Jets or signs elsewhere.

Reddick (neck) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bills, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite Friday's full practice session, Reddick is listed as questionable for Sunday's divisional contest after likely sustaining a neck injury in the Jets' Week 16 loss to the Rams. Reddick has underwhelmed in his first season with the Jets, appearing in just eight games and recording nine total tackles, including 0.5 sacks. If the Temple product can play through his neck issue in Week 17, he's expected to serve as one of the Jets' top edge rushers.

Reddick (illness) was listed as a non-participant at Wednesday's walkthrough practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran pass rusher appears to have come down with an illness that held him out of the Jets' walkthrough practice Wednesday. Reddick's illness likely won't sideline him for the Jets' Week 15 matchup against the Jaguars, but there's a chance he misses Sunday's contest if he can't upgrade to at least limited participation Thursday or Friday.
