"Several teams" have expressed interest in Hardy this offseason, agent Drew Rosenhaus said Friday on Pro Football Talk Live with Mike Floria. "Teams have shown interest, but nothing is imminent," Rosenhaus said. "I can't sit here and say I'm overly optimistic."
EDGE Analysis
While it isn't clear if Hardy is anywhere close to getting another chance in the NFL, it doesn't sound as if he's a complete afterthought in league circles yet. The 28-year-old has a chance to display his talents Saturday night at The Spring League Showcase -- along with former NFL running backs Fred Jackson and Anthony Dixon -- and it'll be interesting to see if these supposed teams maintain interest in him after his performance.

Hardy was arrested in Richardson, TX for possession of a controlled substance Sunday, NBC 5 Dallas reports.
EDGE Analysis
The legal ramifications aside, Hardy has remained a free agent to this point in the season due to his status as a near pariah in NFL circles, what with a past filled with domestic violence allegations, among other check marks against him. Don't expect this development to endear himself to any remaining interested parties.

Cowboys' owner, president, and general manager Jerry Jones said Friday that Hardy will not rejoin the Cowboys in 2016, Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old made 12 appearances during his one season in Dallas after spending the first five seasons of his career with Carolina. Despite his questionable reputation after spending nearly all of the 2014 season on the commissioner's exempt list, Hardy still offers on-the-field prowess and could certainly find his way into a starter's role in time for training camp.

Hardy (illness) is active for Sunday's game against Washington, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hardy battled an illness all week, but gradually increased his practice participation as the week moved on. Despite the game being meaningless in terms of playoff seeding, Hardy and the Cowboys will look to finish a tumultuous 2015 season on a high note.

Hardy had four tackles and an interception in Sunday's 13-12 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
The INT was the defense's first turnover since Week 3. Were it not for a tackle by Russell Wilson, Hardy might well have returned his pick to the house and won the game for the Cowboys, as they only managed a field goal on the subsequent possession. He'll try to get back in the sack column next week against Sam Bradford and the Eagles.

Hardy (illness) is listed as active Sunday at the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Hardy will brush off a late-week illness to aid in the Cowboys' pass rush, of which he's accounted for two of the team's 11 sacks in his only appearance of 2015.

Hardy (illness) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Added to Thursday's injury report as a non-participant, Hardy should still have plenty of time to recover from whatever illness is bothering him. He had five tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in his Cowboys debut.

Hardy missed Thursday's practice due to an illness, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hardy made his presence felt in his sole appearance of the season in Week 5, sacking Tom Brady twice among five tackles while adding a forced fumble. With an illness in tow, his ability to suit up Sunday at the Giants could be hindered, but Friday's injury report will ultimately shed light on the situation.

Hardy was a force on the pass rush in his Cowboys debut Sunday, collecting five tackles including two sacks and forcing a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
The Cowboys will be on bye next week, but beginning in Week 7 expect Hardy to be a consistent IDP asset for the remainder of the season.

Hardy was officially re-instated to the Cowboys roster Monday after serving his four-game suspension.
EDGE Analysis
Defensive tackle Ken Bishop got waived to make room for him on the 53-man roster. Hardy joins a Dallas pass rush that has only six sacks through four games and should be itching to make a good impression with his new team when they take on the Patriots in Week 5.
