Dortch signed his one-year restricted free-agent tender Friday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Dortch was extended a tender by Arizona back in March, and he now officially re-signs with the team on the one-year deal worth $3.3 million. He played all 17 games with the Cardinals last season, securing 37 of 50 targets for 342 yards and three touchdowns. Now heading into his fifth consecutive year with Arizona, Dortch is again positioned for a role on offense behind Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson.

Dortch has become a mainstay in Arizona's passing game the last three campaigns, averaging a 37.7-363-2.3 line on 51.7 targets per year while missing just two regular-season games. The team will have the right of first refusal for any contract offer that he receives, but if he returns to the Cards, he'll continue to operate as the third wide receiver behind Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson (hamstring) in 2025.

Dortch gathered in 37 of 50 targets for 342 yards and three touchdowns, added five carries for 31 yards and returned seven kickoffs for 186 yards and 21 punts for 202 yards in 17 regular-season contests in 2024.

EDGE Analysis

Since his mini 52-467-2 breakout on 64 targets in 2022, Dortch has combined for 61-622-5 on 91 targets over the last two campaigns. In particular this past season, he recorded a reception in all but one game, but his receiving yardage total ranked fifth on the Cardinals behind TE Trey McBride, WRs Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson (hamstring) and RB James Conner (knee). If Arizona opts to bolster its receiving corps further this offseason, Dortch, an upcoming restricted free agent, may find himself in an even lesser offensive role in 2025.

Dortch recorded three catches (on three targets) for 18 yards, one kick return for 28 yards and two punt returns for 15 yards during Saturday's 13-9 defeat at the Rams.

EDGE Analysis

Aside from a 60-yard outburst Week 15 against the Patriots, Dortch hasn't surpassed 20 receiving yards since Week 6, a stretch in which he's otherwise mustered an 11-61-1 line on 16 targets over nine contests. Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson typically handle a majority share of snaps afforded Cardinals wide receivers, leaving Dortch to compete with Zay Jones for tertiary reps at the position.

Dortch caught his only target for 19 yards, notched one carry for eight yards and returned one kickoff for 26 yards and one punt for 13 yards during Sunday's 36-30 overtime loss at Carolina.

EDGE Analysis

Dortch followed up a season-high 60 receiving yards on three receptions Week 15 against the Patriots with a more typical performance Sunday, but he still accounted for 66 all-purpose yards while playing 21 of 70 (30 percent) offensive snaps. His usage on offense ranked fourth among Cardinals WRs behind Michael Wilson (90 percent), Marvin Harrison (81) and Zay Jones (39), so Dortch is more likely than not to be contained to a maximum of a catch or two per game over the final two weeks of the campaign.

Dortch hauled in all three of his targets for 60 yards, recorded one carry for six yards and had two punt returns for 13 yards during Sunday's 30-17 win versus the Patriots.

EDGE Analysis

Dortch missed out on his second touchdown of the season when he fumbled on his only carry at New England's two-yard line, but fortuitously the ball was recovered by Cardinals offensive lineman Jonah Williams in the back of the end zone for Arizona's first TD of the game. In the passing game, Dortch's 39-yard catch in the second quarter actually surpassed all but two of his single-game tallies through 14 appearances on the campaign, and his 60 receiving yards marked a season high. Prior to this Week 15 matchup, Dortch had strung together seven straight outings with less than 10 total yards, so he can't be counted on for a repeat performance this coming Sunday in Carolina.

Dortch recorded a five-yard reception on his lone target and returned two punts for 21 yards in Sunday's 30-18 loss to the Seahawks.

EDGE Analysis

He took the field for 27 of the Cardinals' 71 snaps on offense, narrowly beating out Zay Jones (24) for third among Arizona wideouts behind Marvin Harrison (60) and Michael Wilson (59). Jones had earned more snaps than Dortch in each of the previous three games but failed to draw a target in any of those contests, while Dortch remained more involved (six targets, one rushing attempt) during that span despite the downturn in playing time. Dortch still hasn't earned more than three targets in any of his last seven appearances, so he'll remain largely off the fantasy radar even if the disparity in playing time between him and Jones becomes larger in weeks to come.

Dortch's sole catch went for minus-1 yard during Sunday's 31-6 victory against the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

After being involved regularly in the Cardinals' passing game through four contests (15-131-0 on 20 targets), Dortch's production has fallen off significantly over the last six outings (7-56-1 on 13 targets). The offense revolves around RB James Conner, WR Marvin Harrison and TE Trey McBride, which doesn't leave much more than scraps for the remaining pass catchers. With a Week 11 bye on deck, Dortch's next opportunity arrives Sunday, Nov. 24 in Seattle.

Dortch didn't haul in his only target and returned four punts for 65 yards during Sunday's 29-9 win over the Bears.

EDGE Analysis

Dortch remains the Cardinals' No. 3 wide receiver, but in an offense that funnels most of the targets to rookie first-round WR Marvin Harrison, TE Trey McBride and RB James Conner, there often aren't enough targets otherwise for the remaining Cardinals' skill talent to yield weekly output. As evidence, Dortch has combined for a 6-57-1 line on 12 targets over the last five contests, leaving him well outside of the fantasy conversation.

Dortch caught one of his two targets for five yards and a touchdown in Monday's 17-15 win over the Chargers.

EDGE Analysis

Dortch's trip to the end zone accounted for quarterback Kyler Murray's only passing touchdown of the contest. With that said, the veteran wideout played just 17 of the Cardinals' 57 offensive snaps, his lowest snap share of the season. Though he hit pay dirt for the first time this season, his one reception and five yards were both season lows for the 26-year-old. In an offense that is struggling to produce consistently through the air, Dortch is best ignored for fantasy purposes outside of the deepest formats.
