Dexter tallied five stops in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter finished the season with 51 tackles and 5.0 sacks, and he looked like one of the more promising young defensive tackles in the league. Dexter is signed through 2026, and he'll be an excellent IDP option in leagues that use an interior defensive line position.

Dexter (knee) is not among Chicago's inactives for Thursday's matchup against Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter missed Chicago's past two games due to a knee issue, but he's set to return Thursday after logging a DNP/LP/LP practice progression this week. The second-year defensive tackle had started each of the Bears' first 13 games before getting hurt Week 14 against San Francisco. Dexter will likely retake his starting role against the Seahawks, which could lead to Chris Williams logging fewer defensive snaps.

Dexter (knee) is questionable for Thursday's matchup versus the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter missed the team's Week 16 loss versus the Lions with a knee injury and is now in danger of missing a second straight game. If he ends up being unable to play Thursday, Chris Williams will likely start at defensive tackle in his place.

Dexter (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter was injured in Week 14 against San Francisco and has missed Chicago's last two contests. He's trending in the right direction after logging a limited practice last Friday following a pair of DNPs. Dexter has been a bright spot for the Bears' defense this season, logging 44 tackles (23 solo), including 5.0 sacks, 16 QB hits and a pair of fumble recoveries. Chris Williams, Byron Cowart and Zacch Pickens paced the Bears in defensive snaps at defensive tackle against the Lions this past Sunday.

Dexter (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter was limited at Friday's practice following back-to-back DNPs, but that trend in the right direction will not be enough to get him the green light versus Detroit. In his absence, Chris Williams, Byron Cowart and Jonathan Ford are candidates to fill in at defensive tackle next to Zacch Pickens.

Dexter (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is questionable for this weekend's matchup against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter logged DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday, so this limited practice does show he's moving in the right direction. The starting defensive tackle's status, though, will likely now be decided on Sunday morning before the Bears kick off against the Lions.

Dexter (knee) is listed as a non-participant on Thursday's estimated injury report.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter has now missed back-to-back walkthrough practices since his knee injury kept him sidelined for Chicago's loss to the Vikings in Week 16. Friday's practice will represent his final chance to upgrade his activity level prior to Sunday's divisional matchup against Detroit.

Dexter (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter likely hurt his knee against San Francisco in Week 14, as he logged only 21 percent of Chicago's defensive snaps in that loss. The defensive lineman didn't practice at all this week and consequently will miss his first game of the campaign. Chris Williams may be asked to play more defensive snaps against the Vikings on Sunday in Dexter's stead.

Dexter (knee) was a non-participant at Thursday's walkthrough practice.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter played a season-low 21 percent of defensive snaps during Chicago's loss to the 49ers in Week 14, seemingly due to the knee injury he's now managing. If the second-year pro can't get healthy in time for Monday's divisional road matchup against the Vikings, Byron Cowart and Chris Williams will stand to see increased opportunities at defensive tackle.

Dexter recorded 1.0 sacks and eight tackles in the Bears' 23-20 loss to the Lions on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Dexter averaged 2.5 tackles through Chicago's first six games, but the defensive tackle has notched at least five stops in four of the last six games. However, the second-year player has just 1.0 sack in the last seven contests after starting the season with four sacks through Week 5. Dexter has been inconsistent IDP, but in leagues that start defensive tackles, he is a weekly upside play.
