Everett (illness) was a non-participant in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Everett has now missed two straight practices, so what the tight end is able to do Friday -- if anything -- will be telling with regard to his chances of playing Sunday against the Raiders. If Everett ends up sitting out this weekend, Donald Parham would be in line for an expanded role at tight end.

Everett (illness) didn't practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Everett has two more chances to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Raiders, but the tight end's status is now worth monitoring in advance of Week 4 action. In the Chargers' 28-24 win over the Vikings this past weekend, Everett caught all six of his targets for 30 yards.

Everett caught all six of his targets for 30 yards in the 28-24 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Everett acted as an extension of the running game, with quarterback Justin Herbert dumping the ball off a number of times to his veteran tight end. Everett (38 snaps) and Donald Parham (34 snaps) continue to split playing time relatively evenly, but it was the latter who has posed a significant threat in the red zone, catching two short touchdowns Sunday. Expect Everett to continue to be a reliable, albeit unremarkable, fantasy option in a Chargers offense that has leaned heavily on wideouts Keenan Allen and Mike Williams (knee) in the absence of running back Austin Ekeler (ankle).

Everett recorded three receptions (on three targets) for 47 yards in the 27-24 overtime loss to the Titans on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
One week after seeing backup Donald Parham make the most of his opportunities, Everett's control on the starting role returned to normalcy, showcasing his skills as pass catcher on a 29-yard reception that helped sustain a scoring drive for the Chargers in the third quarter. Those passing numbers gloss over the fact Parham played more snaps (34) than Everett (28), and that's not factoring in third-stringer Stone Smartt (22), who also saw plenty of opportunities. With the Chargers sitting at 0-2 to begin the season, it's possible the offense could make a few changes to the starting lineup to shake up things, but the multitude of two tight end sets run by Los Angeles would likely safeguard Everett from having too many complete duds.

Everett caught two of his three targets for 21 yards in the 36-34 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Everett wasn't used much, as Justin Herbert rarely needed to check down or find a safety net, but it was interesting to see backup tight end Donald Parham get plenty of work in tallying three catches for 21 yards and a touchdown. It's unlikely the veteran Everett will be phased out of the offense entirely, but Parham's size (6-foot-8) and speed could make him an attractive candidate for more playing time.

Everett (illness) returned to practice Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Everett didn't participate in Sunday's scrimmage due to an illness, but the Chargers' top tight end is back on the field as the team's preseason opener approaches. The 29-year-old is coming off a 2022 campaign in which he recorded a career-best 58 catches (on 87 targets) for 555 yards and four TDs in 16 games. As long as he remains healthy, Everett merits fantasy roster/lineup consideration while working in a passing offense led by QB Justin Herbert.

Everett didn't participate in Sunday's scrimmage due to an illness, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Everett was one of several Chargers missing from Sunday's practice session due to an illness, but it seems unlikely that the issue will impact his regular-season availability. However, it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to suit up for Saturday's preseason opener against the Rams.

Everett recorded six receptions on eight targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 31-30 wild-card round loss to the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
The Chargers' group of pass catchers was depleted, as Mike Williams (back) was inactive while DeAndre Carter suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter. That led to increased opportunity for Everett, who tallied his first 100-yard performance of the season. He accounted for four of the team's five longest gains from scrimmage, including two catches of 25 yards. Everett also added a nine-yard touchdown midway through the second quarter. Everett recorded a career-best 58 receptions and 555 yards across 16 games during the regular season and remains under contract with Los Angeles for the 2023 campaign.

Everett secured three of five targets for eight yards and a touchdown in the Chargers' 31-28 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Everett offset a minuscule yardage total with a three-yard scoring grab early in the second quarter, his second touchdown in as many games. Everett didn't top 42 receiving yards in any of his last four games and failed to exceed that mark in seven of the last eight overall, but he could play a larger role in Saturday's wild-card road matchup against the Jaguars if Mike Williams is limited or sidelined by the back injury that forced his early exit Sunday.

Everett recorded three receptions on three targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Keenan Allen and Mike Williams accounted for the majority of the targets from Justin Herbert, leaving minimal opportunity for Everett and other peripheral pass catchers. However, Everett got a target near the goal line and converted that into a six-yard touchdown to put the Chargers up 24-10. It was his first trip to the end zone since Week 4, though Everett still has seen his role decrease in recent weeks due to the return of both Williams and Allen.
