Free agent TE/FB Garrett Mills has been accepted into the master's program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. It seems that the 28-year-old has played his last NFL down. Drafted by New England in 2006, Mills spent time with the Vikings, Eagles, and Bengals during his short career, but was last seen on the Patriots' practice squad last season.

Patriots claimed TE/FB Garrett Mills off waivers from the Bengals. Mills was a fourth-round draft pick of the Pats back in 2006. An H-back type, he has an uphill climb to make a roster already deep in tight ends. OT Zach Roth was waived to create roster space.

Bengals waived TE/FB Garrett Mills. Mills was trying to make the team as an H-back, but his fate was sealed when the Bengals added Bo Scaife to the tight end position. Brian Leonard is also a better receiver than Mills out of the backfield.
