The Seahawks waived Clark on Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After reports that Clark's second-tenure in Seattle was coming to a close, the two officially parted ways Saturday. The veteran edge rusher appeared in six games since signing with the Seahawks on Oct. 26, recording just six total tackles on 142 defensive snaps. Derick Hall is expected to see increased opportunities as a reserve outside linebacker going forwards.

The Seahawks plan to waive Clark on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Seattle signed Clark to a one-year contract Oct. 26 after he was released by Denver two weeks prior. The veteran has seen his playing time trend downward of late and had already been ruled out for Sunday's contest against Pittsburgh for what would be his third missed contest over the past five weeks. Clark has a 13.0-sack season on his resume (from 2018 during his first stint with Seattle), but he hasn't gotten to the quarterback a single time over 167 defensive snaps between the Seahawks and Broncos this season.

The Seahawks listed Clark as a non-participant as a resting player at Wednesday's practice walk-through, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark missed Sunday's win over the Titans due to an illness, but his DNP on Wednesday was attributed to rest. As such, he appears to be clear of his ailment and should be able to return to action against Pittsburgh this Sunday. Clark has played a rotational role on defense for Seattle this season, logging less than half of the team's defensive snaps in all but one of his six games with the club.

Clark (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark was not listed on the Seahawks' injury report all week, but it now seems as if he's come down with an illness that will hold him out of the team's Week 16 contest. With Clark missing Sunday's affair, expect Darrell Taylor and Derick Hall to see increased opportunities rushing the passer.

Clark (personal) was not listed on the Seahawks' injury report Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark was ruled out with a "non-injury related" reason and did not travel for last week's loss to the 49ers. The 30-year-old appears to have overcome this issue, as he didn't receive any sort of designation on Seattle's first injury report ahead of Monday's matchup versus Philadelphia. Clark has tallied six tackles while playing in a rotational role on the Seahawks defensive this season.

Clark (personal) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran edge rusher won't travel to the Bay Area with the team for some "non-injury related" reason, per Dugar. Clark has appeared in five games for the Seahawks since signing with the team in late October, playing 135 defensive snaps and recording six total tackles. With Clark missing Sunday's affair, expect Derick Hall to see increased work in the Seahawks' linebacker corps.

Clark signed a one-year contract with Seattle on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old was released by the Broncos almost two weeks ago, and he's now agreed to re-join the team that drafted him in 2015. Clark, who's only appeared in two games this season, recorded 136 total tackles, including 35 sacks, for Seattle from 2015-2018. He made three consecutive Pro Bowls with the Chiefs from 2019-2021, and he's third all time in postseason sacks with 13.5. Clark will look to solidify a Seahawks pass rush that just lost Uchenna Nwosu (pectoral) to injured reserve.

The Broncos are expected to officially release Clark (illness) on Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark, who was inactive for Thursday night's loss to the Chiefs, recently agreed to a significant pay cut that reduced his base salary from $3.5 million to the minimum $841,000, a transaction that foreshadowed his parting ways with the team. The 30-year-old veteran will be free to sign elsewhere once released and fully recovered from his illness, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him prioritize a contending team as his next landing spot.

Clark (illness) agreed Thursday to a pay cut Thursday that reduces his base salary from $3.5 million to the minimum $841,000, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark's pay cut could very well signal that he will soon part ways with the Broncos via release or trade, per Field Yates of ESPN. The veteran linebacker has already been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Chiefs due to an illness. In two appearances with Denver this season, Clark has racked up just two total tackles.

Clark (illness) has been ruled out for Thursday Night Football versus Kansas City, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark dealt with a partial abductor tear that sidelined him for the first four games of the 2023 campaign before he made his season debut during Sunday's loss to the Jets. However, he's now popped up with an illness that left him sidelined during practice Tuesday and Wednesday. The nature of this issue is still unclear, but the timing of it will force Clark to sit out following Denver's short turnaround into Thursday Night Football. In his stead, expect Ronnie Perkins and/or Thomas Incoom to see increased roles versus Kansas City.
