Browns TE Evan Moore is "losing ground" to second-year TE Jordan Cameron while sitting out practices with an undisclosed injury. Moore opened camp on the active/non-football injury list for undisclosed reasons. He's yet to participate in any camp practices. Moore and Cameron are similar players; basketball types who struggle in the running game. Cameron has been picking up first-team reps in two-tight end sets opposite Ben Watson.

Browns TE Evan Moore will begin training camp on the active/NFI list. The Browns haven't disclosed Moore's injury, but it appears he was hurt working out on his own during the offseason. We never saw any reports about Moore missing time in OTAs or minicamp. Until we see proof to the contrary, consider his injury minor.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer feels tight ends Evan Moore and Jordan Cameron could see more playing time. The increase in snaps for the receiving tight ends would be traced to the team's upgrade at right tackle (rookie Mitchell Schwartz). This would free up the tight ends from having to help out with pass blocking, meaning more Moore/Cameron and less Alex Smith. Ben Watson is still the favorite to lead the unit in snaps, but is not on the fantasy radar.

Evan Moore caught four passes for 39 yards in Week 17 against the Steelers. Moore generated a small amount of hype going into the year, but was limited by the Browns preference for Ben Watson as their ''in-line'' tight end. Unless the Browns find an immediate solution for their quarterback situation, expectations should be curbed for 2012. However, Moore currently grades out as the 14th ranked tight end by Pro Football Focus.

Evan Moore caught five balls for 35 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' Week 16 loss to Baltimore. Moore wasn't even targeted in Week 15, but he bounced back to tie Greg Little for the Browns' team lead with seven pass targets. Moore's six-yard TD in the fourth quarter cut the deficit to 20-14, although Cleveland couldn't capitalize on its next drive. Moore has the talent to be an impact fantasy tight end, but his usage has been too limited for statistical consistency. He'll get another opportunity to make an indelible impression in Week 17 against Pittsburgh.

Evan Moore led the Browns with 55 yards on four receptions against the Steelers in Week 14. Moore made a nice, leaping hands catch of 33 yards over Lawrence Timmons on the opening field goal drive. He had gotten behind Troy Polamalu later, only to have Colt McCoy underthrow the pass for an interception. Moore could be a tight end desperate fantasy owners to target for Week 15 at Arizona if Ben Watson (head) ends up sitting out.

Browns TE Evan Moore caught two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 13 loss to Baltimore. Moore was not targeted in Weeks 11 or 12, and this is his first Rotoworld blurb since November 6. The garbage-time touchdown is not a sign of things to come.

Evan Moore caught just two passes for 11 yards in Sunday's loss to the Texans. Moore continues to play behind Ben Watson and be grossly underutilized. Despite impressive size and hands, he's on pace for 36 catches, 328 yards and four touchdowns.

Evan Moore caught two passes for 17 yards in the Browns' Week 8 loss to the 49ers. Moore wasn't on the field much, as the Browns instead went with Jordan Norwood and Greg Little in the slot for four-wide receiver packages. Moore isn't going to be a fantasy option from here on out unless Ben Watson gets injured.
