Swoope was let go by the 49ers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The team replaced Swoope with newly signed tight end MarQueis Gray. Swoope will hope to latch on with another squad quickly, but the 28-year-old Miami product is unlikely to be a difference-maker regardless of where he lands.

Swoope signed with the 49ers on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Swoope has only spent time with the Colts since going undrafted in 2014. He suited up for 16 games in 2016 and seven in 2018, but has primarily been on the practice squad aside from that. The former Miami basketball player will now look to make an impression at San Francisco's camp.

Swoope was cut by the Raiders on Tuesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Swoope was recently signed by the team this offseason after appearing in seven games with the Colts in 2018. The 27-year-old could be an attractive option on the open market, after he caught seven of 10 targets last season for 87 yards and three touchdowns. Swoope can sign with any team, and could be given another chance before too long.

Swoope signed a one-year deal with the Raiders on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Swoope appeared in seven games for the Colts last season, logging eight catches for 87 yards and three touchdowns on 10 targets. The 27-year-old was let go by the team Dec. 11 and was claimed off waivers by the Saints a day later, but was waived again shortly after failing a physical. Swoope could offer the Raiders a red-zone threat -- it's a small sample size, but he caught three touchdowns off six red-zone targets in 2018 -- but will face competition from former Seahawk Luke Willson and fourth-round pick Foster Moreau, among others.

Swoope's contract with the Colts' practice squad expired Monday, per the league's official transaction log.
EDGE Analysis
The fact Indianapolis didn't extend Swoope a reserve/future contract offer suggests Swoope won't be spending the 2019 offseason with the Colts.

The Colts re-signed Swoope to their practice squad Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
For the third time this season, Swoope will return to the organization after having previously been released. Following his most recent release, it initially looked as though Swoope would find a home in New Orleans, but the Saints sent him back to the waiver wire after he failed a physical. The Colts are apparently more comfortable with Swoope's health and could promote him to the active roster ahead of their Week 17 matchup with the Titans if there's any concern about top tight end Eric Ebron's (concussion) availability for that contest.

Swoope was released by the Saints on Thursday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
EDGE Analysis
Swoope didn't last more than a day in New Orleans after being scooped off waivers Wednesday, so he'll become available to other squads once again this week. The tight end played in seven games with the Colts earlier this season, catching eight passes for 87 yards and three scores on 10 targets.

Swoope was claimed off waivers by the Saints on Wednesday, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Swoope should provide the Saints with added depth at the tight end position. The bulk of his work will likely come via special teams, but Drew Brees has a knack for getting the most out of his teammates.

The Colts waived Swoope on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Though he hasn't played more than 22 offensive snaps in any of his seven games this season, Swoope had offered some marginal value in two-tight end formats after scoring three times on only eight receptions. His red-zone efficiency aside, Swoope clearly wasn't as held in high regard by the Colts as the other college-basketball-player-turned-tight-end on the roster, Mo Alie-Cox (calf). The team's decision to cut Swoope likely signals that Indianapolis expects Alie-Cox to return to action Sunday against Dallas following a three-game absence.

Swoope (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Swoope never practiced in full capacity this week and didn't log any reps at all Thursday, but the Colts saw enough to give him the green light. After a three-game absence due to injury, Swoope returned to action last weekend in Jacksonville and worked as the top backup to starting tight end Eric Ebron, finishing with a four-yard reception across 14 offensive snaps.
