After recording zero starts in the two previous seasons with Green Bay, Wilson made 12 starts during the 2024 campaign, as his 558 defensive snaps were the most he's played since 2020 with the Vikings. Wilson, however, played just three defensive snaps in the wild-card playoff loss to the Eagles, as he was behind all three of Quay Walker, Edgerrin Cooper and Isaiah McDuffie on the depth chart at linebacker. Wilson is now scheduled to hit free agency in March and turns 31 years old in September.

The 30-year-old took full advantage of his increased snaps with Green Bay's first-team defense after Quay Walker left with a concussion in the first quarter of Sunday's win. Don't be surprised if the Cincinnati product begins to see increased work with the Packers' first-team defense even when Walker returns from injury, as Wilson seems to positively impact the game whenever he's on the field.

The veteran linebacker spent each of the last two seasons with the Packers, and he'll remain in Green Bay for the immediate future after re-signing with the team Friday. Wilson has seen limited work on defense during his time in Green Bay, but he's been an integral part of the Packers' special-teams unit. Over the last two years, Wilson has logged more special-teams snaps (308) and tackles (25) than any other Packer. Expect the 30-year-old to continue serving as an essential part of the team's special-teams unit in 2024.
