Patriots waived DE/OLB Eric Moore. Moore was signed just 10 days ago, but the move is a bit surprising since it comes only one day after fellow DE Andre Carter was sent to injured reserve. Moore has been held off the stat-sheet in two games this season.

A former sixth-round pick, Moore has tallied 45 tackles and four sacks over 33 career games with four different teams. Although he saw significant playing time for the Pats down the stretch in 2010, his snaps should mostly be limited to special teams.

The career journeyman and ex-UFLer managed a career-high two sacks in four games with the Patriots last season.
