Ebron caught one of four targets for eight yards during Sunday's 19-13 win over the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron has now been held to a single catch in three of five contests this season and, while he's scored twice, he has yet to top 50 yards receiving in a game -- something he did seven times to go along with 13 touchdowns in 2018. The Colts are a more balanced operation with Jacoby Brissett under center and were downright run-heavy Sunday against Kansas City, so expectations should be tempered. The passing game should offer a few more opportunities in Week 7 against the Texans, an opponent that features a strong run defense, but has been exposed in the passing game.

Ebron had one reception for a 48-yard touchdown on five targets in Sunday's loss against Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron struggled most of the game as he had three drops, according to Pro Football Focus. He also played on just 27 of the offense's 77 snaps, compared to Jack Doyle playing on 56 snaps. Ebron could have a larger red-zone role if T.Y. Hilton remains out with a quad injury, but it doesn't look like he'll necessarily get more snaps or targets as the Colts distributed Hilton's playing time evenly across the receiving corps.

Ebron brought in three of four targets for 47 yards in the Colts' 27-24 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron showed off his downfield chops with a 30-yard reception, his longest on the young season. The 26-year-old tight end has logged a relatively modest 11 targets through three games, and he's only been able to flash his red-zone prowess on one occasion, finding the end zone Week 2. Nevertheless, Ebron's past success in this offense and Jacoby Brissett's considerably improved play early this season offers reason for optimism that even more productive days are ahead. Ebron will look to build on Sunday's numbers in a fantasy-friendly matchup against the Raiders in Week 4.

Ebron caught three of four targets for an output of 25 receiving yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 19-17 win against the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron hauled in a three-yard, opening-drive touchdown pass from Jacoby Brissett, providing the 26-year-old with his first receiving score of 2019 after accounting for 13 last year, the third most ever for a Super Bowl Era tight end. His touchdown dependence is becoming more and more apparent, as Ebron has averaged fewer than three receptions and 30 receiving yards per game over his past seven regular-season and playoff appearances. Week 3 brings a matchup against an Atlanta defense that deploys former Pro Bowler Deion Jones -- the best coverage linebacker in the NFL during the 2017 season, according to Pro Football Focus.

Ebron had one reception for eight yards on three targets in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. He was targeted once in the red zone, but couldn't hold on to a potential touchdown catch in the end zone.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron appeared to catch a touchdown and the Colts challenged the play, but replay showed he wasn't controlling the ball before rolling out of bounds. Neither Jack Doyle (two targets) nor Ebron played a big part in the Indy passing game, but at least Ebron was targeted in the end zone. Doyle played more snaps on offense (43) than Ebron (25), which continues a pattern when both were on the field last year. However, Ebron still looks like a primary red-zone target.

Ebron caught both of his targets for 28 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 21-18 preseason loss to the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Both of Ebron's catches came on the team's 10-play, 85-yard drive which concluded with his 12-yard touchdown grab. He played in conjunction with Jack Doyle on the drive in a likely preview of how the two will operate during the regular season. Because Ebron missed the preseason opener due to a leg injury, he likely will see a healthy increase in snaps next week against the Bears.

Ebron (leg) returned to practice Monday, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing the preseason opener, Ebron could make a brief appearance Saturday against the Browns, or perhaps the following weekend against Chicago. His recent absence was attributed to a lower leg injury rather than the groin issue that required offseason surgery. Fellow tight end Jack Doyle returned to practice Saturday after also missing the preseason opener.

Ebron is dealing with a lower leg injury, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron didn't play in Thursday's preseason contest with what head coach Frank Reich described as an "ankle/foot" injury. The lack of proper distinction likely means the injury isn't serious, however his status is worth monitoring with Jack Doyle (oblique) shedding a minor injury of his own in recent days.

Ebron won't play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron dealt with a groin issue during the offseason, so his absence is presumably precautionary. Also sitting out the contest is fellow tight end Jack Doyle (oblique), with the Colts resting several dinged up players Thursday night. Ebron's next chance to suit up for a game will occur Aug. 17 against the Browns.

Ebron (groin) isn't listed among the players that the Colts plan to ease into action at training camp, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Colts are taking it easy on players that missed the offseason program, but Ebron apparently doesn't qualify after he made it back for individual drills and positional work at June minicamp. With no complications coming off his offseason groin surgery, the 26-year-old appears to be a step ahead of fellow tight end Jack Doyle, who still needs to regain strength after he lost 25 pounds while recovering from multiple surgeries.
