Ebron had logged 40-plus receiving yards in each of his previous three contests, with Sunday's effort marking a season-low yardage total for the tight end. Although the Steelers put up 38 points, the team wasn't forced to do much passing during the second half after jumping out to a sizable lead early on. Although he wasn't utilized much against Cleveland, Ebron has played a fairly steady role in the Steelers offense to begin the season, as he's now brought in 16 of his 22 targets for 165 yards and a touchdown through five contests.

Ebron is thus good to go Sunday against the Browns. He's logged back-to-back five-catch efforts and should continue to see his share of targets in a solid matchup Sunday against a Cleveland squad that's allowed an average of 296.4 passing yards per game to date.

Ebron wasn't known to have been banged up coming out of his five-catch performance in Sunday's win over the Eagles, so the 27-year-old may just be getting some extra maintenance to begin Week 6. The tight end will have two more practices to upgrade to full participation before this weekend's game against the Browns.

Ebron's fumble in the fourth quarter put a slight damper on an otherwise solid performance following the team's Week 4 bye. The 27-year-old has now been targeted at least five times in each of the Steelers' last three contests, while topping 40 yards on each of those occasions. Ebron, who was on the field for 58 of the team's 75 snaps on offense Sunday, should have another favorable matchup against the Browns this coming weekend.

Ebron finished second on the team in targets and provided one of the highlights of the day with a 10-yard touchdown catch over a defender in the second quarter. He received another look in the red zone and seemed to step up, especially after Diontae Johnson (concussion) left the game. Ebron reportedly connected well with Ben Roethlisberger during training camp and will now look to build on his best performance of the young season next Sunday against the Titans.

Ebron has emerged as Pittsburgh's top pass-catching tight end, outproducing Vance McDonald the first two games this season. He has a decent matchup against Houston in Week 3 but Ebron's fantasy value in most formats appears to be touchdown-dependent.

After weeks of debate over who would emerge as the No. 1 tight end for Pittsburgh, neither Ebron nor Vance McDonald were much of a factor all game. Just like McDonald, Ebron was only targeted twice, both coming before halftime. The Steelers have several pass-catching options, and as a result Ebron's fantasy value may be touchdown-dependent.

Ebron's biggest knocks are his run-blocking skills and the occasional dropped pass, but head coach Mike Tomlin made a deliberate effort to improve Ebron's blocking against some of Pittsburgh's best defenders. The 27-year-old may still lose some reps to Vance McDonald, but being a more well-rounded player should keep him on the field more and increase his fantasy potential after recording 31 receptions for 375 yards and three touchdowns last season.

After breaking out with 13 touchdowns in 2018, Ebron was hampered by a preseason ankle injury all of last year, which didn't allow him to play beyond Week 12. Overall, he managed a 31-375-3 line on 52 targets in 11 games in his second season with the Colts. With the Steelers, Ebron will have to contend with Vance McDonald for TE reps, once he's available again.

Ebron stated early April that he was still in recovery mode after undergoing procedures on both ankles, but he's now managed to officially pass his physical and resume running and cutting without pain. The 27-year-old was limited by his injury during the 11 games he suited up for with the Colts last season, after having previously broken out with a 13-score campaign in 2018. Now evidently healthy enough to participate in on-field drills whenever the Steelers ultimately reconvene for offseason activities, Ebron will look to build chemistry with veteran signal-caller Ben Roethlisberger, who has a history of utilizing the tight end position while leading Pittsburgh's aerial attack.
