Ebron caught three of seven targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 37-5 win over Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
The good news? Ebron was far and away the leader in targets, as no other Colt was the intended receiver on more than four of quarterback Andrew Luck's 23 passes. Unfortunately, none of Luck's four touchdown passes were directed at Ebron, as Erik Swoope was the only Indianapolis tight end to find pay dirt in this one. Even with Jack Doyle (hip) sidelined, Ebron's week-to-week workload has varied dramatically. He has six touchdowns in seven games ahead of a Week 8 matchup with the Raiders.

Ebron is expected to pick up another start at tight end Sunday against the Bills with Jack Doyle (hip) ruled out for another game, Kevin Bowen of 1070 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
EDGE Analysis
Over the past four games Doyle has sat out, Ebron has hauled in 23 of 43 targets for 249 yards and four touchdowns, making him one of the top fantasy options at tight end during that span. He should make for a quality play again this week in most season-long formats, though his overall upside could be capped to some extent by the return of top wideout T.Y. Hilton from a two-game absence. Ebron has done the bulk of his damage over the two contests Hilton had missed, logging 13 catches on 22 targets for 176 yards and three scores.

Ebron caught four of seven targets for 71 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 42-34 loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron ate into the Jets' lead in the third quarter, cutting up the field for an 18-yard touchdown grab. It was Ebron's fourth touchdown in three games and he's scored in all but one contest this season. He has now already surpassed his previous career high for touchdowns in a season. The absence of starter Jack Doyle and top target T.Y. Hilton are certainly factors in Ebron's recent spike in targets, but he looks to be Andrew Luck's favorite target in the red zone regardless. He'll have his hands full on Sunday against a Bills defense that has surrendered just nine touchdown passes through six weeks.

Ebron (shin/quadriceps/ankle/knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
The quartet of injuries prevented Ebron from practicing Wednesday and Thursday, and though he received a questionable tag heading into the weekend, he cleared up most concern about his status by participating in a full session Friday. With Jack Doyle (hip) sidelined once again, Ebron will start at tight end and profiles as one of the top fantasy options at the position this week, despite being quite banged up. Ebron has drawn double-digit targets in each of the Colts' past three games, totaling 19 receptions for 178 yards and three touchdowns over that span.

Ebron (shin/quad/ankle/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets after practicing fully Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but his return to a full session Friday suggests that he'll be a go this weekend. Confirmation of that will arrive in advance of the first wave of games Sunday, with the Colts kicking off at 1:00 ET. Assuming he plays, there's potential for another big volume outing for Ebron in Week 6, with both Jack Doyle (hip) and T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) out again this week.

Ebron (shin) suited up for Friday's practice, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
It won't be clear how much Ebron was able to do until after practice, but it's a good sign that he was back in action after sitting out the previous two days. The Colts will reveal Ebron's status for Sunday's game against the Colts at the conclusion of Friday's practice.

Ebron (shin/quad/ankle/knee) didn't practice Thursday, Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
With a quartet of listed injury issues, it's clear that Ebron came out of Week 5's action with his share of aches and pains. The tight end nonetheless toughed things out this past Thursday against the Patriots, en route to hauling nine of 15 targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns, while logging 59 of a possible 83 snaps on offense. What Ebron is able to do at practice Friday will be telling with regard to his Week 6 status. If he is able to suit up this weekend, there's potential for another big volume outing, with both Jack Doyle (hip) and T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) expected to be out Sunday.

Ebron was held out of Wednesday's practice and listed with four injuries on the official report.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron apparently came away with more than his fair share of bumps and bruises after catching nine of 15 targets for 105 yards and two scores in last Thursday's 38-24 loss to New England. The Colts list the tight end with shin, quadriceps, ankle and knee injuries on the Week 6 injury report, adding another question mark to a pass-catching corps that likely will be missing Jack Doyle (hip) and T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) for another game. Coach Frank Reich referred to both Doyle and Hilton as "week-to-week" when talking with the media Wednesday. Erik Swoope and Ryan Hewitt will hold things down at tight end if Ebron and Doyle are unavailable for Sunday's road game against the Jets. For what it's worth, the Colts list 18 players on their Wednesday injury report, including 11 non-participants in practice. A return to practice in any capacity Thursday likely would put Ebron on track to suit up for Week 6.

Ebron (knee) doesn't have a designation on the final injury report for Thursday's game against the Patriots, while fellow tight end Jack Doyle (hip) has been ruled out for a third straight game.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron is coming off back-to-back games with five receptions and double-digit targets, but he's been held to an ugly mark of 3.5 YPT during Doyle's ongoing absence. The former Lion should be in for another big workload Thursday, as the Colts are also missing wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) in a matchup that should force Andrew Luck to throw often. Ebron was listed as a full practice participant throughout the week.

Ebron (knee) was a full participant for the second straight day Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
As notable as Ebron's participation are the receivers that did not practice. Both T.Y. Hilton (chest/hamstring) and Jack Doyle (hip) did not take the field. Those two have been traditionally top targets and targeted often when healthy in 2018, so we could see a third consecutive week of double-digit targets for Ebron on Thursday against the Patriots.
