The 30-year-old was fortunate to catch a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Ravens, considering he drew four targets while playing just 44 percent of the offensive snaps. Davis (75 percent) and Rishard Matthews (81 percent) both got far more playing time.

Quarterback Marcus Mariota and Decker came into this season ranked near the top at their respective positions in red-zone proficiency over the past few years, but this was the first time the pair linked up for a touchdown this season. Decker also set up a Derrick Henry rushing score by getting the ball down to the one-yard line on a second-quarter catch, so it looks like the veteran receiver's red-zone chemistry with Mariota improved during last week's bye.

This was a bizarre performance from the veteran wide receiver against a subpar defense, especially coming off a Monday Night Football outing in which he led his team with seven catches for 88 yards. Decker still hasn't found the end zone this year and will likely cede snaps to rookie first-rounder Corey Davis (hamstring) moving forward, as Davis is projected to return after Tennessee's Week 8 bye.

Although rookie Taywan Taylor caught the team's lone touchdown of the night, Decker will be happy with his improvement and look to build on Monday's performance against a dreadful Browns team this Sunday.

Decker tied Rishard Matthews for the team lead in targets and receiving yards, but that's more an indictment of Tennessee's passing game sans starting quarterback Marcus Mariota (hamstring) than a significant accomplishment on Decker's part. The offseason free agent acquisition hasn't made much of an impact yet despite being given every opportunity to do so, and will be fighting an uphill battle as long as Mariota remains sidelined.

While he's far from the fastest player at his position, Decker's physicality and route running make him a key cog in Tennessee's diverse passing attack.
