Royal (toe) was listed as a non-participant on the Bears' estimated injury report Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Although Royal didn't practice in advance of the past two games, Royal brushed off a calf injury and corralled 11 of 15 passes for 97 yards. However, he sustained a toe concern Sunday against the Jaguars and was ultimately ruled out. Due to the brief respite allowed this week with a Thursday night clash in Green Bay, he may be hard-pressed to reach the requisite level of health for active status.

Royal is questionable to return to Sunday's game versus the Jaguars due to a toe injury, Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Royal has tended to toe issues at multiple junctures in his career, yet he's missed only one game as a result. If he fails to take the field again Sunday, he'll finish Week 6 with four catches (on six targets) for 54 yards.

Royal (calf) is listed as active Sunday versus the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Despite no practice reps for the second straight week, Royal will suit up and man his typical role in the slot. While the Jags have given up 12.3 YPC to wide receivers this season, it's been offset with seven scores to the position in four games so far.

Royal (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville, and he is expected to play without practicing for a second straight week, CBS Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite missing practice all last week, Royal handled his usual role in the slot, catching seven of nine targets for 43 yards in a loss to Indianapolis. It appears he's headed for the same routine in Week 6, only this time owners won't be caught off guard by the Bears' odd handling of the injury report. Given how deceptive the team has been in regard to injuries, it would still be wise to confirm Royal's status when inactives are released 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Royal (calf) didn't take part in practice Wednesday, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After failing to practice last week due to a calf injury, Royal proceeded to rank second on the Bears with nine targets Sunday at Indianapolis. However, the ailment may have been the impetus for a season-low 6.1 YPC, so his health will be one to monitor as the week proceeds.

Royal (calf) caught 7-of-9 targets for 43 yards Sunday against the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Despite not practicing all week with a calf injury, Royal came up with an impressive effort while being second on the team with nine targets. He did most of his damage after halftime, as the Bears were trailing, forcing quarterback Brian Hoyer to throw the ball 43 times, and allowing the team to pile up passing yardage. He's now posted between 43 and 57 receiving yards in three of his five games, and he's become a decent flex option in deeper leagues.

Royal (calf) is active for Sunday's game against Indianapolis, the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Royal was unable to practice all week after catching seven targets for 111 yards and a touchdown last Sunday against the Lions. With Kevin White (leg) on injured reserve, Cameron Meredith could get more targets if Royal isn't at full strength with Josh Bellamy and Deonte Thompson also possibly in the mix.

Royal (calf) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Indianapolis, ESPN's Jeff Dickerosn reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off his best performance of the season, Royal failed to practice all week, casting serious doubt upon his Sunday availability. With Kevin White (leg) recently placed on injured reserve, it appears Cameron Meredith may need to take on a sizable role across from Alshon Jeffery (knee), with Josh Bellamy and Deonte Thompson possibly also getting quite involved. If able to play, Royal could benefit from extra targets in White's absence.
