While the weather could inhibit passing Sunday -- per Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune -- Royal will attempt to strike against the Giants, who have given up 12.8 YPC and seven touchdowns to wideouts in nine games this season.

Assuming he's active, Royal's primary competition will be the trio of Zach Miller, Cameron Meredith, and Marquess Wilson (foot).
