Royal (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Royal didn't practice Wednesday nor Thursday, so the fact the he still has a chance to play Sunday suggests he may have been involved in some capacity during Friday's session. While the Bears' practice report should clarify that soon, Royal's toe problem limited him to just 12 of Chicago's 80 offensive snaps last Sunday, so his role figures to be tough to rely on even if he's cleared to take the field this weekend.

Royal (toe) didn't take part in practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Afforded just 12 of the Bears' 80 offensive snaps Sunday against the Titans, Royal was an afterthought in a new-look offense led by first-time starting QB Matt Barkley. In fact, Royal ranked fifth among wideouts in terms of usage, resulting in one measly catch for negative-six yards. Even if he attains active status this weekend against the 49ers, his health may not allow him to log much time on the field.

Royal (toe) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Royal is the Bears' veritable No. 1 receiver with Alshon Jeffery suspended and Zach Miller (foot) out for the season, but the elevation coincides with Jay Cutler's own likely multi-game absence due to a shoulder injury. With Matt Barkley under center, only time will tell if Royal has a rapport with the fourth-year signal-caller.

Royal (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to the last two outings in which he appeared, Royal prescribed to a limited practice regimen. This week, though, he failed to log any practice reps. The preceding combined with his lack of production of late -- three receptions (on five targets) for 37 yards in the past pair of games -- makes him a fantasy non-entity in most formats.

Royal (toe) didn't take part in practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
In two appearances since missing a pair of contests with a toe injury, Royal has been nearly non-existent in the box score, notching three catches (on five targets) for 37 yards. Considering Alshon Jeffery just logged the first of four absences due to a PED suspension, the output is underwhelming, to say the least, and he'll now be attempting to connect with Matt Barkley, who is expected to take over for Jay Cutler (shoulder) this Sunday versus the Titans. There's little to write home about regarding Royal in what is turning into a lost season for the Bears.

Royal (toe) caught two passes for 13 yards Sunday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Even with Zach Miller missing more than half of the contest with a foot injury, Royal was barely a part of the Bears game plan. However, should Miller be forced to miss time, Royal certainly could find himself with an increase in targets. However, he's currently not seeing enough volume to be a consistent fantasy contributor.

Royal (toe) is listed as active Sunday against the Giants in New York.
EDGE Analysis
Toughing out a toe injury for the second game in a row, Royal should be a top consideration in a Bears offense without the service of Alshon Jeffery (suspension) the next four games. While the weather could inhibit passing Sunday -- per Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune -- Royal will attempt to strike against the Giants, who have given up 12.8 YPC and seven touchdowns to wideouts in nine games this season.

Royal (toe) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Giants in New York.
EDGE Analysis
Royal followed a limited practice plan last week, only to end a two-game DNP streak and pick up 73 percent of the offensive snaps this past Sunday against the Buccaneers. After corralling one of two passes for 24 yards, there's little doubt that more targets can be expected in a receiving corps without top option Alshon Jeffery, who will begin serving a four-game suspension in Week 11. Assuming he's active, Royal's primary competition will be the trio of Zach Miller, Cameron Meredith, and Marquess Wilson (foot).

Royal (toe) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
On Sunday, Royal made his first appearance since Week 6, earning 41 of the Bears' 56 offensive snaps (73 percent). While the usage ranked third among those in the wideout corps, he mustered just one catch (on two targets) for 24 yards. Following word that Alshon Jeffery will serve a four-game suspension, effective immediately, Royal is a candidate to pick up the slack. However, Cameron Meredith and Zach Miller are healthier options, while Marquess Wilson (foot) was activated from the PUP list Tuesday, which could inhibit Royal's ability to rebuild a rapport with Jay Cutler.

Royal (toe) caught one pass for 24 yards Sunday against the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
As usual, quarterback Jay Cutler threw the majority of his passes to Alshon Jeffery and Zach Miller, while Royal and others were left to fight for scraps. The veteran was faring well when Brian Hoyer was at quarterback, as he had three straight games with at least 43 receiving yards, but it's difficult to imagine that he'll have any type of consistent role while Cutler is under center.
