Ed Gant led the Bucs with 121 yards and a touchdown on two receptions against the Redskins in the preseason finale. The highlight was a 96-yard pass from Rudy Carpenter. Bucs reportedly "love" Gant's 4.4 speed, as it adds a different element than the rest of the receiver corps. The former Cardinals practice squadder has a chance to make the final roster as the fifth receiver.
