Brown and the Jaguars reached agreement Monday on a one-year, $10 million contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's a large contract relative to Brown's production -- at least if the initial figures prove semi-accurate -- but it perhaps shouldn't be a total surprise in light of his performance during the 2024 playoffs. After averaging 0.9 catches for 12.4 yards in 63 career regular-season games, Brown exploded for a 14-229-1 line on 18 targets during Washington's three-game playoff run. He's a 2021 third-round pick with 4.46 speed and only 25 years old, so there's reason to think Brown can help the Jacksonville offense even though he's unlikely to draw a lot of targets. The Jaguars recently released WR Christian Kirk and TE Evan Engram, leaving WRs Brian Thomas, Gabe Davis (knee) and Parker Washington and TE Brenton Strange as the top returning pass catchers from last season.

Brown recorded three receptions on five targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 55-23 loss to the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. He also lost a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
Brown had emerged as a key contributor in the Washington offense during the team's unlikely postseason run. He took a slight step back in Sunday's loss, as he had a mixed performance that included both positives and negatives. Brown accounted for the team's second-longest play from scrimmage with a 24-yard catch, but he also lost a fumble late in the first quarter to set up a Philadelphia touchdown. The Commanders will likely look to add to their pass-catching corps this offseason, though Brown's unexpected emergence is still intriguing heading into the 2025 campaign.

Brown brought in six of eight targets for 98 yards in the Commanders' 45-31 divisional-round win over the Lions on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
Brown was the surprise leader in receptions, receiving yards and targets for the Commanders on the night, while also recording the second-longest catch of the upset victory via a 42-yard grab on the first play of the second quarter. The 2021 third-round pick enjoyed an ascendant regular season and has stepped up his play further since, posting a combined 11-187-1 line on 13 targets over Washington's two postseason victories to date. Brown will look to keep up the productive stretch against either the Rams or the Eagles in an NFC Championship Game battle on Sunday, Jan. 26.

Brown hauled in all five of his targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Brown got the scoring going for Washington when he brought down a 10-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter of Sunday's wild-card round matchup. The fourth-year pro out of North Carolina tacked on 79 more yards in order to finish with his best receiving line in the Commanders' first playoff appearance since drafting the wideout in 2021. Brown may be asked to continue his elevated role in the divisional round if Washington is forced to keep up with Detroit's high-octane offense.

Brown caught three of four targets for 16 yards and added one carry for eight yards in Sunday's 23-19 win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Brown was involved in all aspects of the Commanders' offense Sunday, even adding a passing attempt that missed the mark. The fourth-year wide receiver played 25 of the Commanders' 58 offensive snaps in the contest, well behind fellow wideouts Terry McLaurin (53) and Olamide Zaccheaus (40). In 16 regular-season games this season, Brown recorded 30 receptions on 40 targets for 308 yards and a touchdown, adding three carries for 26 yards. After a quiet Week 18, the 27-year-old will look to make more of an impact in the first round of the playoffs when the Commanders visit the Buccaneers for a wild-card showdown.

Brown (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown upgraded to full practice participation Friday to avoid an injury designation after being a non-participant Wednesday and limited Thursday. He's set to return after a one-game absence and figures to reprise a starting role on the outside in Washington's final regular-season action before the playoffs.

Brown (hamstring) was limited at Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
This marks Brown's first notable on-field work since injuring his hamstring Week 16 against the Eagles. He thus will have one more session this week Friday to prove his health, at which point the Commanders could make a decision on his availability, or lack thereof, ahead of Sunday's game at Dallas. Washington can clinch the No. 6 seed in the NFC with a win this weekend, so having all skill-position players available would increase its odds to do so.

Brown (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Brown was injured Week 16 and missed Week 17, with his absence opening up more playing time for Olamide Zaccheaus, who took full advantage with three TDs over the past two games. It's possible Zaccheaus' emergence will mean a limited role for Brown once he returns, although that wouldn't be anything new after he spent much of the year backing up Noah Brown (IR - kidney). There's also some chance the Commanders get (Noah) Brown back during the playoffs, so there's a narrow path for (Dyami) Brown to occupy a starting role this January.

Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Brown made an early exit from last Sunday's win over the Eagles and didn't practice at all this week. His departure from the last-second win in Week 16 left more snaps/routes for Olamide Zaccheaus and Jamison Crowder, both of whom scored multiple touchdowns after previously having none this season.

Brown (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Brown instead was seen on the side during the open part of Thursday's session, per Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post. It's unclear if Brown is in danger of missing Sunday's contest against the Falcons due to the hamstring injury that forced an early exit from a Week 16 matchup versus the Eagles, but the Commanders could make a ruling on that front when they post their final practice report of the week Friday.
