Brees (knee) practiced fully Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
As observed by Katherine Terrell of The Athletic earlier Thursday, Brees looked like his usual self, which was confirmed on the Saints' second Week 17 injury report. Coach Sean Payton noted Brees may have to wear a sleeve to alleviate some inflammation in his knee, according to Terrell. No matter, the issue won't impact Brees' ability to suit up Sunday in Carolina.

Brees (knee) is practicing Thursday as he normally would, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brees was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate. The development was the result of some inflammation in his knee, coach Sean Payton told Terrell, but the decision to include him on the report was merely precautionary. Considering how he looked in the portion of Thursday's session open to the media, Brees is a decent bet to upgrade to 'full'.

Though Brees was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate due to some inflammation in his knee, coach Sean Payton indicated that the QB is "fine," Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
We'll have to see if Brees is still listed as limited Thursday, when the Saints go through a full practice, but at this stage there's nothing to suggest that his status for Sunday's game against the Panthers is in any danger.

The Saints listed Brees as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report with a knee injury.
EDGE Analysis
New Orleans only conducted a walk-through session Christmas Day, but Brees' reps apparently would have been capped had the team held a traditional practice. In any case, the knee issue isn't believed to be anything that will truly threaten his availability for the Saints' Week 17 matchup with the Panthers. Currently holding the No. 3 seed in the NFC, New Orleans could still earn a first-round bye in the postseason with a win of their own plus a 49ers or Packers loss or a loss of their own plus losses by both the Packers and Seahawks. With that in mind, Brees isn't expected to be rested in the regular-season finale.

Brees completed 27 of 38 pass attempts for 279 yards and three touchdowns in the Saints' 38-28 win over the Titans on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The ageless wonder continued his late-season surge, picking apart a competent Titans defense and leading the Saints to a win after falling behind 14 points early. Brees has been white-hot of late, accounting for 20 total touchdowns to just one pick across his last six games and averaging 276 yards per game while completing 75.9 percent of his passes. In that span, he's failed to throw three touchdowns only once. The veteran signal-caller gets a chance to finish the season strong in an exploitable matchup with the Panthers in Week 17.

Brees completed 29 of 30 pass attempts for 307 yards and four touchdowns in the Saints' 34-7 win over the Colts on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Brees became the all-time passing touchdowns leader Monday, finishing the day with 541 scores to his credit - two more than previous record-holder Peyton Manning. The historic 540th touchdown came on a five-yard strike to tight end Josh Hill midway through the third quarter. Brees also set the mark for completion percentage in a single game (96.7) on a healthy 30 attempts, adding another impressive note to his already-prolific resume. The 40-year-old quarterback continues to dazzle with his accuracy and decision-making, and he sports a robust 21-4 touchdown-interception ratio on 75.8 percent passing in 2019. He'll face a tough test in Week 16 as the Saints travel to Tennessee to take on an upstart Titans defense, though Brees should remain locked into fantasy lineups for that contest.

Brees completed 29 of 40 pass attempts for 349 yards and five touchdowns, adding a one-yard rushing touchdown in the Saints' 48-46 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Brees rebounded from last week's dud with an enormous stat line against one of the league's best defenses. He kicked off the scoring early, tossing three touchdowns to his tight ends in the first quarter before diving over the top of the pile on fourth-and-goal for his fourth score in the second quarter. As has been the case throughout his career, he came through huge in the fourth quarter, leading two more touchdown drives inside the final six minutes of the game, though some late heroics by George Kittle and an ill-advised facemask penalty ultimately cost New Orleans the win. The 40-year-old quarterback still has plenty left in the tank, and he'll get a chance to keep the momentum going Week 15 against a Colts team that was just shredded by Tampa Bay for 38 points.

Brees completed 18 of 30 pass attempts for 184 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions, losing one yard on his lone rushing attempt in the Saints' 26-18 win over the Falcons on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Brees finished with easily his worst game of the 2019-20 campaign, failing to pass for at least 200 yards in a full game for the first time all season. Brees also matched a season-low in completion percentage (60) among games that he finished. The veteran signal-caller has played solid football since returning from a thumb injury in Week 8, and it was discouraging to see this kind of performance against a below-average Falcons defense. Things won't get any easier for the quarterback in Week 14 when the Saints face the 49ers in an important NFC showdown.

Brees completed 30 of 39 pass attempts, throwing for 311 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's 34-31 win against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The 12-time Pro Bowl signal-caller has been his typically dominant self since returning from the thumb injury that cost him five games earlier this year, completing 76.5 percent of his pass attempts and throwing to a 9:2 TD:INT since Week 8. Brees remains a top-shelf fantasy option heading into his Week 13 matchup against Atlanta, as he will be facing a Falcons defense Thanksgiving night that surrendered 313 passing yards and three touchdowns to Tampa Bay's Jameis Winston on Sunday.

Brees completed 28 of 35 passes for 228 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Saints' 34-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also netted zero yards on his three rushes.
EDGE Analysis
After a touchdown-less performance Week 10 against the Falcons, Brees bounced back nicely against the soft target of the Buccaneers' defense Sunday. The future Hall of Famer connected with Jared Cook, Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn for his three scores, while his 80.0 percent completion rate was a season high. Brees' 35 pass attempts were actually a low-water mark in any non-injury-shortened game this season, but that was a byproduct of a game script that saw New Orleans progressively separate in the second half. Having righted the ship, Brees will look to stay hot versus another division rival in the Panthers in Week 12.
