The Chargers have signed Legursky, ESPN.com reports. With Nick Hardwick having landed on IR, Legursky will bolster the depth of the Chargers' offensive line interior.

Bills G/C Doug Legursky was carted off the field with a potentially serious left knee injury during Thursday night's preseason finale. Legursky got his left leg rolled up underneath him, and players were immediately calling for trainers. He had already lost the competition for the starting left guard job to Colin Brown, but Legursky can back up all three interior line spots. The Bills have had a rough summer from an injury standpoint.

Coach Doug Marrone said he's disappointed in the left guard competition so far. Predictably, both Doug Legursky and Colin Brown have been disappointing. Chris Scott was waived last week. Marrone went as far to say that he's considering someone else for the first-team reps -- perhaps he'll give G/T Sam Young a shot. It's a reminder that the Bills' offensive line is a good bet to regress after losing Andy Levitre in free agency.

Bills G/C Doug Legursky has a legitimate chance to win the starting left guard spot. When Legursky was signed earlier this month, it was assumed he was brought in as depth at center behind Eric Wood. Head coach Doug Marrone has declared an open competition at left guard, and singled out Legursky and Colin Brown as the front-runners for the job.

Bills signed G/C Doug Legursky. Buffalo keeps collecting former Steelers offensive linemen. Legursky, who worked out for the Bills on Tuesday, will provide depth behind starting center Eric Wood. He can also play guard in a pinch. Legursky made a pair of starts in place of the injured Maurkice Pouncey in 2012, and also started one game at left guard.

The Bills worked out free agent OGs Doug Legursky and Tyronne Green Tuesday. The Bills are looking for veteran depth after losing Andy Levitre and Chad Rinehart in free agency. Green was released by the Patriots just last week. Legursky appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers last season, making three starts. He also started 10 games in 2011.

Steelers re-signed restricted free agent LG Doug Legursky to a one-year, $1.26 million contract. Legursky is currently recovering from shoulder surgery. The 26-year-old former undrafted free agent played center at Marshall, but made six of his ten 2011 starts at guard. Pro Football Focus graded him poorly across the board.

Steelers LG Doug Legursky is scheduled to undergo shoulder surgery on Friday. Legursky originally injured his left shoulder in late September versus the Colts and aggravated it several times throughout the season. His recovery timetable is not yet known. Legursky will be back in Pittsburgh as a restricted free agent, though he may have to fight to keep his starting job.

Steelers C Doug Legursky (shoulder) is not expected to play in Week 17. Legursky went down while filling in for Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) last week. Pouncey is expected back in practice on Wednesday.

Steelers C Doug Legursky was forced from Sunday's game against the Rams with a left shoulder injury, and is questionable to return. If Legursky, who was filling in for Maurkice Pouncey (ankle), cannot return, it will leave the Steelers extremely thin along their offensive line. LG Trai Essex is now at center, forcing an always overmatched Chris Kemoeatu into the game at left guard. It could be a long day for Charlie Batch.
