Doug Baldwin left Sunday's game with a head injury near the end of the second half.
"Head" injury is often an NFL-team code word for a concussion. The rookie slot receiver had one catch for 50 yards before exiting the field.

Doug Baldwin caught just three passes for 31 yards against the Cowboys in Week 9.
Baldwin drew six targets compared to three for Big Mike Williams and just two for Ben Obomanu. The promising slot receiver is on pace for 56 receptions and 868 yards heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Ravens.

Doug Baldwin caught five passes for 73 yards in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
With Mike Williams inactive, Baldwin served as the clear No. 3 receiver. He's earned the job by making tough catches, and today was no exception as he went over the middle fearlessly. Baldwin ended up second on the team with eight catches and continues to show burst after the catch. Still, remember that Baldwin was shut out in last week's loss to the Browns. He'll be a high-risk play as the No. 3 receiver in an offense that has an erratic passing game.

Doug Baldwin did not catch a pass on three targets in Sunday's loss to the Browns.
The highlight of Baldwin's game was a questionable offensive pass interference call that killed a potential game-winning drive. Otherwise, he was a non-factor as Charlie Whitehurst was unable to gain any command of the offense. Baldwin and the Seahawks' offense won't find the sledding any easier against the Bengals next week.

According to QB Charlie Whitehurst, rookie Doug Baldwin's hot start has hardly been a surprise at Seahawks headquarters.
"The first few days of training camp we kinda had a smirk on our faces," said Whitehurst. "How in the world did we get this guy?" Baldwin racked up the majority of his 136 Week 5 yards in the fourth quarter with Whitehurst under center. He could be a sneaky WR3 play against the Browns after the bye week with Joe Haden likely to be concentrating on Sidney Rice.

Five of Doug Baldwin's eight catches went for at least 20 yards in Sunday's went over the Giants.
Baldwin is now averaging 16.5 yards per catch, while his 136 yards Sunday were the most for any Seahawks receiver this season. Of his three 80-yard games, two have come since Sidney Rice's return. Although it's possible he's already peaked, Baldwin is certainly worth a flier if you have a need at receiver.

Doug Baldwin caught eight passes for 136 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's 36-25 win over the Giants.
With the Seahawks trailing 25-22 late in the fourth quarter, Osi Umeniyora jumped offsides. The Giants' secondary stopped playing, but Baldwin and Charlie Whitehurst didn't. It led to the game-winning 27-yard touchdown catch for Baldwin, the Seahawks emerging slot receiver that dominated the second half. The undrafted rookie out of Stanford now has 80-plus yards in three of the Seahawks' five games and has recorded 13 catches in the last two games combined. Baldwin is worth an add in deeper PPR formats, but note that the Seahawks are heading into their bye.

Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin caught four passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 loss to San Francisco.
It looked like Baldwin was rotating third-receiver snaps with Golden Tate (who caught a touchdown pass), but the undrafted rookie from Stanford led the Seahawks with six targets. His 55-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter briefly gave Seattle life, previous to a pair of return touchdowns by Ted Ginn that sealed it. Baldwin could be a nice little slot receiver for the Seahawks, but he's not worth picking up in fantasy leagues.

The Seattle Times believes "it would be very hard" to leave undrafted rookie WR Doug Baldwin off the 53-man roster.
Stanford's leading receiver with a 56/824/9 line last season, Baldwin leads the team with eight receptions in three exhibition games. At 5'10/189, he's drawn comparisons to Bobby Engram for his "craftiness and ability to get open in the middle of the field." Baldwin will be no higher than fifth on the depth chart if he does make the team.
