Bills WR Donald Jones caught one pass for six yards in the team's Week 9 loss to the Jets. Jones was covered by Antonio Cromartie for most of the game, and Ryan Fitzpatrick simply didn't try to test the matchup much. Jones will likely have two or three decent games in the second half of the season, but it will be impossible to predict when they're going to happen. He'll be tough to count on against the Cowboys in Week 10.

Bills WR Donald Jones is active for Week 9, as expected. Jones was listed as probable on the injury report. The second-year deep threat may have a limited role against a Jets pass defense that tends to shut out wideouts outside. Jones shouldn't be in fantasy lineups this week.

Bills WR Donald Jones (ankle) is listed as "probable" for Sunday's game against the Jets after practicing again on Friday. The probable tag means Jones is almost certain to return after missing three weeks with the ankle injury. David Nelson still makes for a better fantasy start, as Jones isn't back to 100 percent just yet.

Donald Jones (ankle) was a full participant in Bills practice Thursday. According to coach Chan Gailey, Jones is "still not 100 percent," but may be active against the Jets. Jones last played in Week 5. Even if Jones is able to return, he won't be a fantasy option against the Jets' seventh-ranked pass defense as he works his way back into game shape.

Donald Jones (ankle) practiced Wednesday and said he's ready to go for Sunday's game against the Jets. As long as Jones doesn't have a setback on Thursday or Friday, he projects to garner a handful of targets as a field-stretcher Sunday. Jones was averaging 3.2 catches for 34.8 yards with one touchdown in five games before going down.

Bills WR Donald Jones (ankle) is expected to return to practice Wednesday. Jones will have a chance to play against the Jets if he avoids in-practice setbacks. While Jones wouldn't be a fantasy option coming off the injury in a tough matchup, he could siphon away targets from David Nelson and C.J. Spiller.

Bills declared WR Donald Jones, CB Aaron Williams, CB Terrence Wheatley, OLB Antonio Coleman, OT Chris Hairston, OT Demetrius Bell, and NT Kyle Williams inactive for Week 8 against the Redskins. David Nelson will get the start out wide, replacing Jones. Buffalo is without its top two left tackles, which could be problematic for Ryan Fitzpatrick as he squares off with Redskins edge rushers Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan.

Bills WR Donald Jones (high ankle sprain) has shed his walking boot and insists his recovery is ahead of schedule. The initial timetable was 4-6 weeks, Jones says he won't need a full month and a half to return. "We don't think it'll be six weeks at all," he said. "I'm definitely a lot better. Things are moving a lot faster than expected." Jones has been spelled by a combo of David Nelson and Naaman Roosevelt outside. The Bills have a Week 7 bye. Perhaps Jones will come back for Week 9.

Donald Jones has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain, and will miss the next 4-to-6 weeks. As feared. Jones' absence thrusts David Nelson into the starting lineup opposite Stevie Johnson, and leaves Naaman Roosevelt as the No. 3 wideout in Buffalo's injury-riddled receiver corps. Nelson had a quiet day after Jones went down Sunday, but should see the biggest boost in targets. Roosevelt is an intriguing flier after hauling in five passes for 41 yards yesterday, but is only three weeks removed from the practice squad. Johnson and Jones are the only two Bills' pass catchers worth starting right now.
