Freeman has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Colts after being diagnosed with a concussion.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman had three carries for 43 yards before suffering the head injury, and his absence likely means a significant increase in work for Tevin Coleman and, to a lesser extent, Terron Ward.

Freeman is being evaluated for a possible head injury during Sunday's game against the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to exiting the game, Freeman logged three carries for 43 yards. As long as he is sidelined, Tevin Coleman and Terron Ward are in line for added touches in the Falcons' offense.

Freeman caught eight passes off of 10 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss against the 49ers. He was held to 12 yards rushing on 12 carries.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman circled out of the backfield for a 17-yard catch and run in the closing moments of the first half to break a two-game scoreless streak. Freeman's 13 total touchdowns are comfortably the most in the league, four ahead of Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert. Not all is sunny in Atlanta, however. Freeman hasn't scored a rushing touchdown since Week 6 and was stymied for his lowest rushing total of the season and his first game with fewer than four yards per carry since Week 2. The fact that head coach Dan Quinn chose to kick a field goal with his team down by four and the ball a yard away from the end zone didn't necessarily ooze faith in Freeman.

Freeman rushed for 88 yards on 21 carries in Sunday's lost to Tampa Bay. He added six catches for 43 yards on eight targets.
EDGE Analysis
Since taking over the lion's share of the carries for Atlanta in Week 3, Freeman has tallied over 100 yards of total offense in every game. He has been a fantasy darling ever since, leading the league in yards and touchdowns. From Week 3 through Week 6 Freeman scored nine touchdowns and was bound to cool off of that pace. That's exactly what has happened over the past two weeks, during which he has been held scoreless. Given the fact that Freeman has averaged 27 touches in those two games, it should be considered just a matter of time before he starts finding the end zone again.

Freeman eclipsed 100 rushing yards for the fourth time in five weeks, picking up 116 on 25 carries Sunday against the Titans. He also caught two of his three targets for 14 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman failed to find the end zone in this one, but still served as a workhorse in a game where quarterback Matt Ryan was a little bit out of sync. The 23-year-old is basically matchup-proof at this point, as his combination of talent and role makes him a good bet to produce against any opponent.

Freeman had 13 carries for 100 yards and a touchdown, adding eight catches for 56 yards and another touchdown, in Thursday's 31-21 loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman scored his touchdowns in the fourth quarter, cutting the deficit to 10 points both times. He was effective throughout the game, but Atlanta's offense was largely done in by drops and careless turnovers, including a fumble by rookie Tevin Coleman, who had four carries for 40 yards. Freeman still dominated the snaps and tied Julio Jones with a team-high 10 targets, eventually using garbage time to put up a massive game for the fourth straight week. With any stray thoughts of Coleman threatening his workload put to rest, Freeman is locked in as a top-five option at running back each week, regardless of Atlanta's matchup. The Falcons head to Tennessee in Week 7 to face a Titans defense that's allowing 4.4 yards per carry.

Freeman (toe) is active for Thursday's game in New Orleans, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman logged a full practice Wednesday and was listed as probable for Thursday's game. He's likely in line for another massive workload, after averaging 29.3 touches over the past three games. Tevin Coleman returned last week but only got two carries.

Freeman (toe) is listed as probable for Thursday's game in New Orleans, the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Building up to a full practice by Wednesday, Freeman will be available, as expected, in Week 6. His viability as both a runner and pass-catcher should serve him well against a Saints defense that has conceded 4.5 YPC, 24 catches, and five total touchdowns to running backs in five contests this season.

Freeman (toe) was limited at Tuesday's practice, Caughn McClure of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman has been limited by the toe issue for the past couple of weeks, but it's yet to present a real threat to his gameday availability. That figures to continue this week, even with the Falcons playing on a short week as they matchup with the one-win Saints on Thursday night.

Freeman (toe) was limited in the Falcons' walkthrough practice Monday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman was also limited after his Week 3 breakout, but in two games in the meantime, he hasn't slowed down in the slightest, racking up 221 yards on the ground, scoring four touchdowns, and recording 12 catches for 125 yards. With a friendly matchup on tap Thursday -- the Saints have conceded 4.5 YPC and five total touchdowns to running backs in 2015 -- he's a great bet to keep up his early-season pace.
