Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said that Freeman (knee) would be a full participant in practice Thursday, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Unless his knee acts up during the session and ends up limiting his involvement Thursday, Freeman looks like he'll be in no danger of missing Sunday's game against the Cowboys. In addition to the knee issue, Freeman has battled a minor shoulder injury the last two weeks, which may help explain his downturn in usage over the second quarter of the season. Over the Falcons' first four games of the campaign, Freeman averaged 17.5 carries; in the subsequent four contests, he averaged only 11.

Freeman was limited at Wednesday's practice with a knee injury, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Listed with a shoulder injury last week, Freeman logged 68 percent of the offensive snaps in Sunday's 20-17 loss to Carolina, gaining 46 yards on 11 carries and 18 yards on four receptions. While the shoulder no longer seems to be an issue, he came out of the game with a knee injury and also said he took a hard hit to the neck and ahd the wind knocked out of him, per McClure. Freeman seems to be on track for Sunday's game against Dallas, though he may be a bit nicked up, which doesn't bode well for his chances to end a four-game streak with 15 or fewer touches. Granted, that prognosis might change if Freeman were to log a full practice Thursday and/or Friday.

Freeman emerged from Sunday's 20-17 defeat at Carolina with an undisclosed injury, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
A "shoulder stinger" capped Freeman's practice reps last week, but he still handled 41 of the Falcons' 60 offensive snaps. With a different ailment in tow this time around, little will be known about it until the team releases their first Week 10 injury report Wednesday.

Freeman rushed 11 times for 46 yards and secured four of five targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman didn't appear encumbered by the shoulder ailment he'd been saddled with early in the practice week, but a second-half deficit limited his rushing opportunities. Freeman hasn't see more than 12 carries in any contest since Week 4, putting a significant cap on his overall upside. While he significantly outpaced backfield mate Tevin Coleman in rushing touches after the latter had logged two more carries than him in Week 9, Freeman saw the latter score a receiving touchdown while he failed to get into the end zone for the fourth consecutive contest. Freeman will look to up his production in a Week 10 tilt versus the Cowboys.

Freeman (shoulder) remained limited at Friday's practice, but he doesn't have a game designation on the final injury report for Sunday's contest in Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Listed as limited all week, Freeman took some contact at Friday's practice, setting him up to get the start Sunday against a tough Carolina defense that's yet to allow a 75-yard rusher. The Falcons might mix in Tevin Coleman a bit more than usual, but Freeman is still the favorite to lead the backfield in touches and snaps.

Freeman (shoulder) was spotted in a black jersey at Friday's practice, but Falcons head coach Dan Quinn relayed the running back is feeling fine and was still able to take contact, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman donned the jersey as part of limited no-contact sessions Wednesday and Thursday, but relayed that he was simply wearing the garment Friday because he liked it rather than as a result of any continued restrictions. It's possible that the Falcons will still end up listing Freeman as a limited participant for Friday's practice, but the running back doesn't look to be in any serious danger of missing Sunday's game against the Panthers, even if he carries an injury designation heading into the contest.

Freeman doesn't believe his shoulder injury will impact his ability to play Sunday at Carolina, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Donning a black no-contact jersey for a second consecutive practice Thursday, Freeman was again tabbed as limited. Clearly maintenance-related at this point, Friday's injury report will nonetheless relay his odds to play Week 9.

Freeman (neck/shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
In the aftermath of Sunday's 25-20 road win against the Jets, Vaughn McClure of ESPN reported Freeman may have suffered a "shoulder stinger." One day later, head coach Dan Quinn relayed Freeman would be limited during the Falcons' first session of the week, which was substantiated when he was seen in a black no-contact jersey Wednesday. Questions abound about Freeman's odds to suit up Sunday at Carolina, but the next two days of practice will give an inkling of his Week 9 availability.

Freeman (shoulder) will be limited at practice come Wednesday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman was bothered by his shoulder in the second half of Sunday's 25-20 win over the Jets, perhaps explaining why he got fewer touches than Tevin Coleman for the first time since Week 14 last season. Falcons coach Dan Quinn hinted that the injury isn't serious, but he did say it will impact Freeman's practice schedule ahead of Sunday's game in Carolina. Coleman's presence makes it possible for the Falcons to lighten Freeman's workload without significantly hindering their chances to get a win.

Freeman is believed to be nursing a "shoulder stinger" in the aftermath of Sunday's victory over the Jets, Vaughn McClure of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Team trainers were seen tending to Freeman's right shoulder in the second half, which might explain why he ultimately finished the day with fewer touches than No. 2 runner Tevin Coleman. Fortunately, Freeman doesn't appear to be dealing with any sort of severe injury and seems unlikely to miss time. His level of participation in practices this week will help clarify that notion.
