Redding was waived by the Buccaneers on Friday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Redding lasted less than a week in Tampa Bay. With Peyton Barber, Ronald Jones II and Jacquizz Rodgers already having secured roster spots, Redding never had more than a minuscule chance of making the final 53-man roster. The 22-year-old will become an unrestricted free agent if clears waivers.

Redding signed with the Buccaneers on Sunday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Redding spent last season on the Chiefs' practice squad. He's being brought in for the final exhibition game against the Jaguars while the starters rest. The 22-year-old would need to be brilliant in order to secure a roster spot.

Redding was let go by the Chiefs on Saturday, Terez A. Paylor of KansasCity.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kareem Hunt, Charcandrick West, and C.J. Spiller pretty much sure things for the final roster, Redding never figured to have much of a chance making it through final cuts. He seems primed for a practice squad role, and could be moved up to the regular roster should any of the aforementioned get hurt.

Redding had 21 carries for 59 yards and two catches for 10 yards (on two targets) in Thursday's preseason finale against the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
The undrafted rookie out of Indiana didn't appear to have much chance of staying on the roster until Spencer Ware (knee) suffered a season-ending injury. The Chiefs are left with only four tailbacks on the roster, giving Redding a decent shot to at least grab a spot on the practice squad, even though he averaged only 2.6 yards per carry this preseason. Kansas City will probably take a look at the running backs released by other teams this weekend.

Redding signed with the Chiefs on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Indiana product went undrafted, but will compete for a roster spot with the Chiefs. He was the first Hoosiers' running back since Vaughn Dunbar in 1990-91 to record back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He is a patient runner who excels in zone-blocking schemes, so coach Andy Reid's west coast offense figures to be an advantageous situation. However, the Chiefs already face a crowded backfield situation, so Redding will have to impress in order move up the pecking order.
