Jones (undisclosed) was waived from the Panthers' injured reserve list Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Jones cleared waivers, meaning he will now likely spend the entire 2022-23 season on the Panthers' IR list. As he works back from whatever is holding him out, his absence will open up practice and preseason reps for other guys clawing for a spot on the 53-man roster at corner, such as Tae Hayes and Myles Hartsfield.
