Kizer completed 22 of 47 passes for 242 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Colts. He added 44 yards and another score on seven carries.
EDGE Analysis
Kizer kept the Browns in the game with a pair of 75-yard touchdown drives in the first half, but his pair of third-quarter interceptions made it all but impossible for the team to erase a 31-14 deficit. He did his best with a couple more touchdowns in the fourth quarter, eventually ending the contest with an interception on a desperation heave from his own 5-yard line. Kizer has been unusually aggressive for a rookie quarterback, perhaps benefiting from the knowledge that he has a long leash on a rebuilding team. He's a clear early favorite to lead the NFL in interceptions, but his willingness to throw down the field and scramble has resulted in two solid fantasy outings among his first three games. Kizer and the Browns have a Week 4 home date against the Bengals.

Kizer has a history of migraines, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kizer was removed due to a migraine midway through the second quarter of Sunday's 24-10 loss in Baltimore, but he returned in the middle of the third quarter and finished out the game. He said afterward that the migraines are a hereditary issue, noting that he takes a series of medications and didn't have any flare-ups during his time at Notre Dame. Unlike Kizer's shaky performance, the migraines can probably be written off as a non-issue unless there's another report that he's dealing with symptoms. He has a long leash in the starting job, but Cleveland brass can only tolerate so many performances like Sunday's four-turnover debacle. Kizer should look better Week 3 in Indianapolis, facing a far more forgiving defensive opponent.

Kizer completed 15 of 31 passes for 182 yards, along with three interceptions and a lost fumble during Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Kizer was forced out of the game midway through the second quarter due to a migraine but was able to return in the second half, though his presence didn't do much to help his team. The rookie struggled throughout the game, losing a fumble and throwing three picks, including a bad throw in the end zone. He finished the game with a quarterback rating of just 27.3, as he was unable to build on his impressive Week 1 performance. Kizer did, however, develop strong chemistry with wideout Rashard Higgins -- who was just promoted off the practice squad this week. The two connected seven times for 95 yards, and that relationship may become a trend as the season goes on. The former Notre Dame gunslinger will look to bounce back in Week 3 against the Colts and their questionable secondary.

Kizer returned to Sunday's game against the Ravens in the third quarter after leaving the contest earlier due to a migraine issue.
EDGE Analysis
Kevin Hogan completed five of 11 passes for 118 yards, a TD and a pick in relief, but Kizer is back in action, signaling that no change at QB is on tap for the Browns.

Kizer was forced out of Sunday's game against the Ravens with a migraine.
EDGE Analysis
As a result, Kevin Hogan is in at QB for the Browns. Prior to his exit from the contest, Kizer had completed six of 11 passes for 81 yards and a pick.

Kizer completed 20 of 30 passes for 222 yards, a score, and a pick in Sunday's loss to the Steelers. He added 17 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
EDGE Analysis
Despite being under a swarm of pressure which resulted in seven sacks, Kizer looked solid on Sunday, using his size to sneak into the end zone for an early score and then rifling a short slant to Corey Coleman in the end zone late to bring Cleveland within a field goal. There were some warts, especially an ugly pick to fellow rookie T.J. Watt, but Kizer gave quarterback-desperate Browns fans somethings to look forward to on Sunday.

Kizer -- along with Brock Osweiler -- won't play in Thursday's preseason finale versus the Bears, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kizer has already locked down the starting quarterback job and will now turn his attention to the team's Week 1 matchup with the Steelers. Coach Hue Jackson has said that he expects the former Notre Dame signal-caller to have a long leash this season, so even if he struggles early, benching Kizer doesn't seem to be in the plans.

Browns coach Hue Jackson suggested he will be patient with Kizer this season, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. "I'm going to ride this with DeShone, you know the good, the bad or whatever comes,'' said Jackson.
EDGE Analysis
Given that the Browns aren't expected to compete for a playoff spot, Kizer should be allowed to work through early-season struggles without facing any threat to his starting job. He could eventually find himself on the hot seat if he doesn't improve as the year goes along, but team brass seemingly understands there will be plenty of lumps along the way. Jackson is unlikely to panic and abandon his plan to develop the young quarterback, as the Browns knew they were headed for an all-out rebuild when they hired Jackson last offseason.

Kizer isn't sure whether he'll play or sit out Thursday's preseason finale versus the Bears, Andrew Gribble of the Browns' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kizer was named Cleveland's starting quarterback on Sunday, but it remains to be seen whether the rookie will get a little extra work Thursday ahead of the regular season. If Kizer does play in the preseason finale, it probably wouldn't be for long, as the Browns have clearly now gone all-in on him as their signal caller this season.

Head coach Hue Jackson named Kizer the Browns' starting quarterback for Week 1 against the Steelers, Josina Anderson of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite completing just six of 18 passes for 93 yards with an interception in Saturday's preseason win in Tampa Bay, Kizer will get the nod over veteran Brock Osweiler and second-year pro Cody Kessler. With an eye on the future, the decision could be a prudent one to get Kizer as much as experience as possible, especially in the midst of a rebuilding effort.
