The Lions remain interested in free agent DT Derek Landri. Landri visited with the Lions last month, but left without a contract. He could provide a rotational gap shooter behind Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley if signed. Landri, 30, will only require a veteran-minimum deal.

Free agent DT Derek Landri worked out for the Lions on Tuesday. It's the ex-Buc's first-known visit since he was released in February. He should eventually land a minimum-salary contract.

Buccaneers released DT Derek Landri. The move saves $1.5 million in straight cash; Landri's scheduled 2014 salary. Lovie Smith's quick release of Landri is a bit of a surprise because he can shoot gaps and that's a critical element in Smith's 4-3 scheme. 30 years old, we expect Landri to play in the NFL this season, perhaps on a minimum salary.

Bucs DT Derek Landri has a sprained MCL and will miss a "few weeks." Landri injured the knee in Sunday's loss to the Saints. He's purely a rotational player behind starters Gerald McCoy and Akeem Spence.

Bucs agreed to terms with DT Derek Landri, formerly of the Eagles, on a two-year, $3.25 million contract. Landri, 29, made 18 tackles and appeared in all 16 games, starting seven, for the Eagles last season. His best season came in 2010 when he was a 16-game starter and registered 43 tackles and three sacks. Landri could be asked to step in and start next to Gerald McCoy after the Bucs lost Roy Miller in free agency. Ideally, he'd be a rotational reserve.

Free agent DT Derek Landri is not expected to re-sign with the Eagles. Acting as a backup tackle, Landri managed just 39 tackles and two sacks over the last two seasons. The Eagles will move forward with Fletcher Cox, Cedric Thornton, and Antonio Dixon as their interior lineman in their new 3-4 or 4-3 "under" scheme. It's a position they're sure to add talent to via both the draft and free agency.

Eagles re-signed DT Derek Landri to a one-year contract. Landri drew interest from the Bucs, but was otherwise greeted by a soft market. Unsigned until October, Landri notched 21 tackles and two sacks in 12 games last season, and acquitted himself well against the run. He played just 355 snaps, however, and will be ticketed for a rotational role again in 2012.

The Bucs have begun showing interest in free agent DT Derek Landri. Landri is considered a fall-back option if the Bucs fail to land DT Amobi Okoye, who is drawing interest from several teams. The 28-year-old Landri impressed as a rotational tackle in Philly last season.

The player rep for free agent DT Derek Landri says he hopes to remain in Philadelphia, and that the Eagles have expressed interest in re-signing him. Speaking at the Combine Thursday, Eagles GM Howie Roseman hinted he'd like Landri back. Waived in September, Landri tallied 21 tackles and two sacks in 12 games as a rotational lineman after being re-signed in October.
