Bengals released OT Dennis Roland. Roland was released by Cincy at final cuts and then re-signed just before Week 1. Now he's gone again so they can make room for S Chris Crocker.

Bengals re-signed OT Dennis Roland. Roland was among the Bengals' final cuts, but will provide depth with Andrew Whitworth (knee) "extremely cloudy" for Week 1. He served as Cincinnati's No. 2 right tackle last season. Anthony Collins will start against the Bears on Sunday if Whitworth is ruled out.
